My new ring!!!

A few weeks ago, I posted that there may be an eternity ring in my future...well here it is! Channel set rounds, yellow gold, 1.80 carats.

I know I do, Patty...lol. And I haven''t even begun to show y''all what I''ve got. But seriously, the reason I have so many rings is because

1. I inherited quite a few nice rings.

2. I have a very nice and generous hubby.

3. I am totally addicted to jewelry

4. I was willing to forego a big 3 carat honker diamond to have several nice rings with smaller diamonds and less carat weight.

They do match really well, don''t they? It''s from a local store, I either couldn''t find or afford what I was looking for from an on-line vendor. My ering is a J color, and the stones in the band are H. I keep telling y''all...color doesn''t seem to be as much of an issue in the ideal cut, higher clarity stones! Especiallly when they are smaller stones. I''m sure in the larger stones, color shows up much more, but since I don''t have any large stones (yet

) I don''t worry about it.

My husband keeps hinting that for our 15th anniversary he''s thinking about a 1.25-1.50 carat diamond. I''m not even sure that I want one even that big. I''d almost rather have some new stud earrings instead. My current pairs are .25 ctw and .50 ctw. I wouldn''t mind having a 1.0 or 1.25 ctw pair of martini set earrings in platinum! But I''m content for the time being. My new .53 is just fine for me! And I also still have my other .75 carat diamond in the white gold tulipset and my princess cut diamond, too. I''m good for a while.

I wear a 5 1/2, but my rings are a 6 because if I wear more than one ring on my finger at a time they get stuck! Besides, I like them a little "loose". The ring has 20 diamonds, so I guess that makes them .09 carats each. Did I do that math right? I stink at math, I was a biology major who minored in fine arts.
