Lucky, the stones go all the away accross the finger and stop right there. It doesn't hang over so it's super comfortable but it looks like an eternity band. My jeweler recommended I go with 8 and at first i was like..8?? never seen that before, and i'm really glad I did!

It is the royal crown; it originally housed my 1.52 and I had the prongs extended and the tips made into claws (looks more like claws in person). I will probably put it in a pave mounting with a matching band..but I just can't decide on the style! It's so hard..especially when you see all the beautiful rings here on PS

lol slammie, that is the exact reason why i have decided on a solitaire setting and putting the most bling on the w-band. i am the most indecisive person, and seeing all the rings on PS makes it even tougher. even though you are going to change it, i absolutely love it, and it's sooo beautiful...my BF even commented on it, and that means a lot!!

LOL, I guess that's a real compliment coming from your BF!! My husband rolls his eyes everytime I try to get him to see a ring on here. He just can't understand the obession, but I can't understand his mountain biking obession, so there!!

superbcert - the distributer of the stone, owned by Barry (Judah is his son if you see him mentioned). They apparently have the stones cut/cut them themselves

AGA - Accredited Gem Appraisers. David Atlas'' appraisal company (he''s a FABULOUS resource here on pricescope). His website shows some cut grading information for various diamond shapes

RB - round brilliant - the shape of the diamond

Hey guys!! thanks again for your compliments!! Well, it's been about a week now and I'm still lovin it!! I've finally been able to spot the inclusion table up in certain light conditions if I tilt it a certain way but 99% of the time..I can't see it!!

I can spot it now from the side; I'm just surprised that it's not bothering me..I guess the sheer beauty and light performance is just blowing me away

Apologizes for all the abbreviations and thanks rfath for decoding! It would be great for newbies to get a list like that. As for the setting sevens one, I've actually put a deposit down on a custom design to be made by my local jeweler, Topper Jewelers, who made my wedding band. Because it will be pave, I will be getting the ering and the matching pave band made, and will wear my current wedding band on my right hand.
I've decided to go pave with a slightly rounded shank, very similar to the Michael B design (black background) but with slightly larger melees (2 pointers) like the leon mege (emerald ring). I originally thought that the cuts on the side (fishtail

pave) would be too busy but I saw it in person and it's just gorgeous!! Very very pretty.

The head will be a basket style with pave going around the basket and will have 4 split double claw prongs like Kayla17's beautiful ring. Novicenyc, Kayla17...hope you don't mind me posting you beautiful pics!!

PS is such a great source for ideas but it also drove me and my hubbie nuts when trying to decide on my new and final setting!!

Everything is soooo beautiful.
Lastly, I asked to have it made so that the base of the basket does not protude so that the matching wedding band will sit flush up against it. I can''t wait, it will be 4 weeks, and the setting has gone away over our budget but I''m very excited and know we made the right decision. Thanks for listening!!
