You are right.

All six of us, in two cars, were out to get lunch.
When they stopped for gas I jumped out of our car and accosted her dad like like those annoying paparazzi.
Often fun candid pics are all around us for the taking if we just pull out our cameras when not expected.

I loved having them over, but after just two days I was ready to get my quiet house back.

Yikes! I forget what they're like at that age. I have my Swiss nephews visit in April to look forward to....and they are 4 and 2. On the other hand, my kids are noisy in other ways (loud video games, and music videos).

I understand the noise thing. We are currently visiting my SIL/BIL and family. The kids are 9, 7, 3, and 2. It's a revolving door of who is currently happy or sad enough to be shrieking and stomping in place. I've nominated my SIL for sainthood.

One noise I didn't mind a bit was the girls constantly banging on, I mean playing, our pianos.
We have four - pianos, not girls.

When I was their age I wished for a piano more than anything, but we couldn't afford one.
Their parents can't either.

I'm doing everything I can to get them interested in piano and music.
Next visit the guitars will come out … me gots 4 of them too.
No pressure but if there is an interest the instruments and lessons will be on me.

Then again, that might turn into a can of worms power struggle that I wished I would have stayed out of.
