My ring is coming sooner than I thought!

I''m awaiting a curvy delicate cathedral setting for my .88 rb. I thought it wouldn''t be done til September, but the designer thinks it''ll ship in 2 weeks! She sent me pics of it already cast only 9 days after I ordered it. I wish I could post the pics, but I''ve been unable to resize them. I can show the ring on a link:

Fieryred, I'm already married, for 23 yrs, but felt this forum was best for me because I never had an original diamond ring. I didn't even want one til 1997, but things just didn't work out til recently. So I've been kind of a "lady in waiting" for 11 years.

As for what I'll do when the ring arrives... I need to ask DH what he wants to do. Since I've never seen this setting in person, I would like it if we opened the package together, and then try it on for just a moment with my original wedding band. Then DH will take it to have my .88 rb put in it. Then I have no idea what he'll do. Or when he'll do it... I just hope it's soon!

BTW, I got a call from UPS this morning, asking what the ring was made of. Then the gal told me it could be here as soon as tomorrow!!

WOOOOO HOOOOOO! It arrived at 3:30, and I waited for DH to come home so we could open it together - it''s gorgeous!

I''ve had it on all evening, just looking and looking at it, even though it has a cz in it. Really, it''s a nice cz, colored H.

DH is taking me on a date tomorrow to take the ring and my .88 in to be set in it. Then we''re going to see the new Batman.

As soon as my own .88 is in it, I''ll put some pics up. I hope it''s a quick process!

FYI, saw the 12:30 (AM!!!) showing of Batman last night, yes I was at work by 8... really good, and totally creepy, in a good way. You''ll laugh at things you never thought you''d find amusing...
