Setting took about 2.5-3 weeks. Finding the diamond took couple weeks.

I hope you propose soon... Some ladies have suggested that finding out their SO had the ring for a while and was waiting to propose, was a bit frustrating to learn! Any time you propose will be a perfect time - because it is you committing to a lifetime together!

I proposed on 2/2/13 . She wanted to go for a walk in the morning but she had stuff come up and ended up not going. We went later than afternoon at a park and it was totally unexpected. I had something else planned the following week, but figured sooner than later was a better bet. We were meeting up with friends for superbowl sunday and was sure she wanted to show it off.

Getting down on one knee definitely got me a little emotional. Felt a little watery eyed (no tears). Didn't really feel nervous about the proposal but definitely felt the emotion.

Now we gotta slowly start planning for the wedding.
