My Shoes

OK, ladies, I''m on a break from running around so I just wanted to share a few of my small details. These are my Stuart Weitzmans that I absolutely love. I''ve been practicing dancing in them in my apartment. I hope I can last all night! Bear with me as I don''t know how to attach more than one photo at a time.

I like those! To match, have you seen the swarovski crystal toasting flutes? The stems look just like the heels of your shoes!

Thanks ladies! I'm pretty much beyond the freaking out stage and now I'm just coasting!! The heels are about 4" which is good because my FI is about a foot taller than I am! It's hard to get a good close up of them but I think they're tiny rhinestones. They're actually quite comfortable but we'll see how I feel after 6 hours in them!!

Thanks SDL! I got them here in NYC at the Stuart Weitzman store. I''m embarrassed to say that I spent a ton on them--$245! I know, I''m crazy but I am going to have them dyed black after the wedding so they will definitely get used again!! This is how I rationalized it to myself!!!

LOL with the practicing. My friend got som SWs for her wedding as well as more comfy shoes and andother BM and I spent half the reception searching for the comfy shoes when her feet started killing her. not fun. she shoudl have practiced.

Those are gorgeous!

My trick for making heels more comfortable (and for taking up space since I have very narrow feet)----Dr. Scholl''s full-length inserts. They make the bed mushier and the balls of your feet will feel much better. I don''t know if anything will help for 6 hours though!

Bring some moleskin (like hikers use) or at least band-aids...or practice alot so you don''t get blisters/the shoes are broken in especially around the heel!!!

I actually own a gorgeous pair of Stuarts that look to be about the same height (and shape...). Your shoes are gorgeous ... I don''t even now if that word even matches ....

But, I have spent a lot of time in my Stuarts and wore them during my choir concert (standing for long periods of time) and my saving grace is Foot Petals - I''ve found the Dr. Scholl ones aren''t as good (I have both.)

I don''t know if they''ll get you all the way through a wedding, but they are the best things out there in my opinion.
