I am a little camera dumb so if someone can tell me what the best settings to take pictures on I will deliver some hand shots and close ups as soon as possible!

My fiance had this ring made for me by a "friend of the family" jeweler. It is a one carat square emerald with one carat total weight sidestones- paved on all three sides. I love it because no one I know has a ring that looks like this- all my friends have round solitaires or rounds with baguettes.

sosquare...if you can find the macro setting (it usually looks like a flower icon), taking pix on this setting usually gets favorable results...good luck!

In addition to using the macro setting it really helps if you can prop the camera up on something so you don''t have to hold it because in macro mode if you move the camera while you take the picture it blurs! More pics soon please, it''s beautiful!
