Aww, that''s lovely! It reminds me of bubblesI bet she''s on cloud 9 right now! (As are you, I''m sure!) Congratulations!!
It is a very unique setting!!! I''ve never seen anything like it! Such an amazing find. Were you able to use the old center stone to create another piece of jewelry, like a pendant? Or did you trade it in to curb the cost of the new center stone?Date: 4/18/2005 847 PM

Thanks everyone for the compliments. We love it ! Actually the whole orignal ring was from a chain store in a mall. We loved the setting but didn''t like the center stone that was in the ring, didn''t seem to match the top side diamonds or the side diamonds. So we looked for a new center Diamond that was a much better color and clarity and CUT. What we came up with after they set the new diamond in the ring for us really blew us away. Turned out really much better then we could have ever hoped for. In person it really sparkles and shines even more then the pictures show.
In total there are actually 13 diamonds on the ring. We thought the setting was quite unique and didn''t see any others like it anywhere.

Actually we bought the setting with the 12 stones for a 1/4 of what they wanted for the entire ring. WE didn''t want any parts of the center stone, it was either an L or M in color and was quite dark. Just can''t figure out why they put such a crappy center stone in such a beautiful ring. The outside stones were a much better color and clarity. Anyone could tell easily from looking at the ring from above that the center stone didn''t match the outside stones, we knew then we had to find a better center stone to replace it with.Date: 4/19/2005 9:266 PM
