Thank you so much everyone!! ita a super long story but I stumbled across this pear on JA while trying to sell my ER ring. Under 5k I couldn't pass up seeing it so my DH said buy it! It's a 2.01K IGI i1 hence my far from perfect!! I originally set it in rose gold to take away from the k color but it gave it too much color so I switched it to a white gold solitaire. Then I wound up selling my Er so I set it in the halo during the JA Valentine's Day sale. It's not my forever ring but for now it's perfect and I'm very happy. Total cost was just under $6k this was the rose gold setting next to my old ER which I loved the setting but hated the stone!!!

I'm not always a fan of halos. But the beautiful pear is my exception. A delicate halo on a pear, there's just something about it that I find so lovely and perfect. Your ring is just that. Congrats on the upgrade

I had an I1 for my first engagement ring and the inclusions are not what ever bothered me. (It was the size lol). It was so sparkly that no one except me could get close enough to see the imperfections. (Had it made into a pendant and it is on its way back to me).

My first ER with my exH that I picked was an I1 and I loved it! My last one was an I1 that my poor DH got ripped off on and it was so ugly lol

We went to ID jewelry for my DH to see diamonds and he was so upset to see how bad he got ripped off

Personally I like I1 and the challenge of finding a good one

Oh, I hate that sick feeling when it comes to jewelry. I'm so happy that this balances that out, and you can just enjoy it now! Halos are my favorite setting for pears, and yours is gorgeous! Perfect proportions, and the shape of your pear is divine!
