My Veil Is Back From Belguim!!

I know that for most brides the big decision and a big bulk of the budget is devoted to her dress. what dress. what dress. what dress.

well, i was somewhat the oposite. i spotted my dress in a picture and bought it online sight unseen literally days after being engaged and love it.

It''s quite simple. so, i got to thinking that a lace veil might be a perfect compliment.

it was not easy, but, i found a lovely lady who specializes in making veils from belgium lace. apparently, she sent a swatch of the tulle from my gown to belgium and the lace was dyed to match. (very international) now it''s back in the states and about to be shipped.

i think right now, it''s the piece of my wedding that i''m most excited about. i just think it''s so pretty and something that i can save and pass on. something that will last a long time.

One word of caution - veils tend to turn really yellow overtime so make sure your magnificent veil is properly preserved.

We had to throw out my Mother''s veil because it had turned pee-yellow.
