My wedding planner deserves sainthood

I don''t post much in this forum and haven''t done so since I inquired about weddings in Italy about 2 years ago. Well the time is drawing near (Oct. 13) when we''ll do the deed in Rome. Nearly everything is taken care of except for my dress. I just can''t bring myself to pay $$$$$$ for the darn thing. So I''m thinking about renting one but the agency I''m using has only traditional gowns and I''m as far from traditional as you can get. My wedding planner thinks I''m crazy for procrastinating on the dress (but she''s too nice to say so) and I think she''s afraid I''ll show up in jeans & a t-shirt (which was my first choice anyway). Here are a few I like. The blue Reem Acra is my favorite but $$$$. So if the agency can''t find something similar for me, and I don''t get my act together soon, I''ll be shopping for a dress a few days before the wedding. Call me crazy, go ahead, I can take it

. By the way, I''m a 51 year old 2nd time bride. Needed to ramble a bit cause I''m getting cold feet. Today someone asked me about the wedding and I broke out in hives!

holy moly! time flies when you're having fun! i had no idea your day was (almost too late to get a wedding dress) near!
are these options available by oct? or are we just pipe dreaming over pretty pictures here?

WOW!! I thought I was the last October bride to order her dress, and I finally committed & ordered a couple weeks ago (at Travelinggal''s insistant urging!)

Okay ...

First of all ... Italy! October! That was MY dream - lucky, lucky lady!!!!!

2nd of all ... are any of those dresses actual possiblities (order time okay) or are they "inspiration" pieces for us to comment on & search for others?

Third of all ... if we should help look ... what''s the IDEAL budget, what''s the MAX budget, what size are you, and what feature would you most want to emphasize (bust, waist, legs etc...) or DE-emphasize.

FYI -- I think Lovelylulu ordered a dress months & months in advance, finally got it and switched out at the very last minute for a JCrew dress maybe? Anyway - moral -- she looked AMAZING! Little to no time doesn''t have to spell disaster!

My fav is the red one. All I kept thinking is "Lady in Red" by Clapton when I saw it. It is stunning, and sexy without being over the top. How do you "feel" in these dresses. Which one makes you feel good?
