My WF ACA has arrived!

I went for a 1.07 I VS2 I loose diamond as being overseas I didn’t want any issues with ring sizes and having to return a ring to WF.
My diamond arrived today and it’s absolutely gorgeous and the heart and arrows viewer is a great little tool

Very nice stone. I never get tired of looking at those flashes from the H&A cut. They mesmerize me every single time. Congratulations. Looking forward to seeing it set.

Thank you. I think I could spend all day looking at it which I will be able to soon once I have it set.

Thank you. I am off to see the jeweller in a week or so. I sent him an email of pictures and my notes of what I would like…

Here are my ideas that I have, a lotus flower shaped basket. There was one with WF but I decided to have it set here so I had no issues with sizing.
This is going to be a right hand ring. I don’t want it to look like a engagement ring but I guess a solitaire diamond is predominately an engagement ring!
I am not married so also hoping it won’t look like a failed engagement but I still wear the ring

I LOVE that!!! Love how it has a design that is pretty but doesn’t
steal shoe from the showstopper ACA!

Also, my respect to you! God didn’t create diamonds only for left hands :)

That looks like a lovely setting, but I'd suggest a setting with small side stones if you don't want it to look so much like an engagement ring.

I would rather not increase the budget to cover any extra stones and 3 stones could be a bit a bit too much for me.
I think I am just going to have to accept that some will think it’s an old engagement ring?!

Hey, @Izzy70, I'm not married or engaged (though very happily coupled for almost 18 years), and I wear diamond solitaires on my left hand *all the time* -- almost every day, in fact. My beloved bought one of them for me, and we've nicknamed it the "Perfect Ring" (emphasis on "Perfect" -- if I had to choose one over all the others, it'd be that one. I've bought the others, just because I enjoy variety. I do love each of my rings, and each of them deserves its day in the sun. One of my dear friends was shocked when I bought my first one, which I found sweetly retro in a good way and also kind of humorous. I'm not that traditional, I guess. As for what other people think, well, it's fun to keep them guessing!

That was a long-winded way of saying congratulations on your beautiful ACA! Enjoy every sparkle and flash!

Thank you so much, I have decided I am going to wear it on the right or left. People can guess or just think that’s a hell of a sparkly stone!
 
I took a trip to my local jeweller today to discuss my ideas, the good news is has made a similar design before and has a mould for the tulip/lotus petals.
I left feeling a little disappointed as he said I should have gone to him for the diamond as he could have got me a good price. But I understand that he is in the business to make money so of course he would make on any diamond he sourced for me but of course it would not be as good as my ACA.
Is there a saying “once you have an ACA always an ACA”?!
 
Most shoppers value size as the most important C...he would not have been able to get you a comparable stone to your ACA for less $$! You have an amazing stone!
