My yellow diamond in new setting :)

I decided to reset my .56 marquise fancy brownish-yellow diamond (looks more like fancy yellow in most lighting) I got from DBL into a lovely setting from Ivy and Rose. I loved the 18k yellow gold, but decided original setting was to plain for my taste, and was able to use the gold from old setting towards the new ring. I am still in love with this diamond and it sparkles like crazy even in direct sunlight

Hi. Yes they set it themselves and had to customize it to fit my smaller stone. Here is original setting.

You make a good point from it being day to night, but I still wear it during day . I wear all my rings weather casual or night time (not that right now we can do a night life)

And the color of the diamond just pairs so beautifully with the yellow gold. And just curious, what type of setting would this be considered? Double halo? Airline? I feel like there's a specific term for it but my brain is mush nowadays

Not sure. All I know it's Edwardian style with the lacy look they do in the time period
