I didn''t read through the last few responses, so forgive me if I''m saying something repetitive, but I''m pretty sure you can name a kid whatever you want. I''ve even heard of people making a hybrid last name. Honestly, I don''t think a last name makes an ounce of difference. I knew kids with hyphenated names, unhyphenated names, difficult to pronounce names...as far as I know, there is absolutely no evidence that it causes psychological harm.
