Ohh yay! That is awesome! She really couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. I would be happy to post more pictures as soon as I can get around to it! I am sure she would be happy to show you all the pictures from our wedding too, she just sent them all to us, so I know she has them!

On that note she sent us 2 cd's with 2000 pictures on them total. We went through them all last night to pick our absolute favorites...and ended up with 453!!!! So that will tell you what we thought of her work in the end.

Wow! I will ask her to see them for sure. She seems awesome, and is willing to travel 4 hours to shoot our wedding in Mendocino. I was worried that with travel that she might be too expensive, but I was happy to find out that she is verrrrry reasonable, even with the overnight stay!
Thanks again, your referral made a potentially difficult decision for me VERY easy!

We booked Elley this morning!
Neatfreak, after seeing more pics from your wedding we were SOLD on Elley for sure!
How funny is this, I used to work at Cinta Salon with Irena and Season who did your hair!

Happy- did you book Elley for April 12th?? If so that is so funny because I booked her for the 13th! She mentioned she had an overnight wedding in Mendocino the night before and I thought it might be you!!

ohhhh! Yay girls! Elley is the best, she really is such a sweetheart and will go the extra mile for you for sure. I am so glad that my post got her some more jobs because she is really talented. Can't wait to see your pictures!

And Happy, I am so glad that you were able to see the rest of my pics from Elley. I have been busy and uploading takes FOREVER. That is really funny that you used to work for Cinta! Irina once fixed a horrendous haircut that I got in Berkeley for me (she took me from a member of the partridge family to a funky Jessica Alba esque cut!), so she was the natural choice when we decided to get married in SF.

Cinta is a salon, its in the Union Square area of SF, I absolutely love it there! (I only quit because I was moving back to Sacramento)
The stylists there are very talented and IMO don''t have half the ego''s of some others in the same area.
I would definately check them out!

Thanks for the recommendation Happy! I still haven''t found a good stylist for general cuts and such (I always get my haircut when I head back to FL for the holidays!) and am in DIRE need of a new one!!

It cant hurt if I need some wedding hair done too!

Cinta is a GREAT salon and they also have to die for manicurists too! We all got our hair done there on the big day and I have had my hair cut there before. I go to Irina, who I really adore, and my hair looked beautiful on the day of (that is until we went across the GG and I stuck my head out of the trolley, but that is to be expected). I can''t recommend her enough. I have also heard fab things about Alvin for updos, but I don''t have personal experience with him.

Thanks so much girls! I have been growing my hair out so it will be long enough for a wedding updo, but it is so boring that I think I need someone to spice it up a bit but keep the length!!

Are they expensive when it comes to color too? (my fantastic whites are showing- and I''m too young to admit I am over 30% gray!!)

They can be pricey... but if you don''t want to pay full price you can be a model for their training program. You will still get great results, it just takes a bit longer than a regular appointment. The trainees are supervised by the top colorists at the salon start to finish.

Nice call on the training program- when I lived in Atlanta I would go to the Aveda institute to get my hair done and it was awesome (and so was the price!)

Now that I too have booked Elley I need to get on the ball about the hair.

I feel like I have stolen your ideas girls! And Happy we have nearly the same wedding date! I hope you dont mind. I''ll just call you my "inspirations"!!
