Hi Ya'all, I desperately and quickly need your help. I have the option to purchase these 3 rings that come together as a set. The top and bottom rings are 14k white gold with micro pave set diamonds (near colorless is all I know) with a mtgw of .8mm, .121cts of white diamonds (42 in alll). The middle ring is rose gold with 3 champagne diamonds in it, at 1.5mm, .039cts.mtgw, bezel set. All in all it has 6 grams worth of gold.

I have never seen this type of ring before and couldn't even find a comparable on the net to cross reference. So my question is, Is $459 USD a fair price for these three rings? I know that the diamonds are small, but there is considerable gold weight here...and I'm ok with the bands being small as I was looking for a micro pave set of bands to go with my WG set to interchange when I wanted something different and the Mall stores wanted 400 for 1 1/8th of a carat MicroPave band....thank you in advance for your 2 cents and please know that this picture DOES NOT do this beauty justice. I just don't know if it's worth 459...

I really wouldn''t compare pricing to mall stores. They are outrageously overpriced for what they sell. I would compare this with other online vendors that have good reputations. What are the clarity of the white and champagne diamonds? You don''t want diamond chips either. For $459, you can get a magnificent LOGR actually, so I''ve been tremendously spoiled and I have a habit of comparing everything to that.

Thanks TL for the fast response...

LOGR?

It's hard to tell without knowing the quality and total carat weight of the stones. Do you have any details? Clarity? Colour?

LOGR is Lord of Gem Rings. An ebay vendor of very affordable settings.

Clarity, Si1 I believe and color is probably g-j

I''ll check that vendor out, thanks.

I just typed in Lord of Gem rings, Lord of Gem, Lord of, Lordofgem, lordofgemrings in seller and couldn''t find him on ebay...what am i doing wrong?

Go to Google, then type in Lord of Gem Rings ebay and it should pop up.

I searched PS and found a link. so at this point, would you say this ring is worth the 459? Im noticing that rose gold is very expensive as are champagne diamonds but I don''t want to get taken either..

If I''m thinking where that''s coming from, I would say "no." I say that because the description you posted of the components that make it up sound a lot like the place I think you''re getting it from. I don''t trust them, and I''m not the only one, sorry.

no hard feelings, we all have opinions...

does the place your thinking of start with a G?

Yup

Well now I''m just curious to see where it''s coming from. To be honest, telling us who the vendor was might have gotten the question answered sooner...especially if we know they tend to sell stuff priced, ah, incorrectly.

It''s ok Monkey, I know the opinons of most regarding that particular vendor, which is why I didn''t post it. I''ve been very satisfied with the items I''ve received from them, but ya know to each their own.

I decided it was too much to pay for what I really wanted it for, while I liked the center band, and would have wore it alot as a RHR, I really liked the two extra bands to wear with my solitare I want to get unsodered togther, so I
can change that up if I want....

all that is to say, lets let this thread RIP, but i thank everyone for your time and input. I''m always out to find the best deal I can on the best quality and I know the adddage of you get what you pay for...but sometimes that thing you think is junk turns into something extrodinary....as iis evident on that one travelling apprasial place on tv....but again its on tv so how much of that is real vs fake...meh....a whole nother rabbit hole to wander through in a different foorum. i''m tired so i''m not spelling well apparently....

Well I hope you find what you''re looking for

I bet if you wanted some help finding the best price on those tiny bands someone would be glad to help you spend your money on something worth it!

good idea.... My budget is TIGHT, 500 max, for 2 rings. no less than 1/8th carat and no more than 1/4 Ct Each, Micro Pave bands, 18K white gold, 2MM or less in width, VS2 Clarity, no lower than G/H color.......no millgrain...i've searched and searched....but alas no luck...

Hm, you''re right - a quick glance around Google and I didn''t spot a thing. But I am not as skilled in the internet searches as some of the other ladies here, so hopefully someone else will have an idea!

Would it maybe be possible to buy them one at a time?

Send your request in to LOGR and see if he can make something in your price range. You''re not asking for a ton of diamonds, so it should be do-able.

I found a possibility. I don''t know anything about this vendor, though, except that I saw some good reviews of it on another forum.

http://47stcloseouts.com

Very decently priced. If you don''t mind clarity enhanced at such a small carat weight.

The Pricescoper in me had my mind mulling over the ring after I had gone to bed. One thing that would also concern me is the workmanship. There is a lot of micropave work and I would like the melee diamonds to be well seated. Have you checked out their return policy?
