Need advice... on veils for my dress

Ok.. I admit it.. I have been sooooo slack.. but I need to get down to business cause the wedding is only ummm... 5 months away.

here is a picture of my dress from a fitting..
And I have attached 2 veils.. which on do you think looks better and if neither.. should I just wear flowers in my hair? Or any other suggestions?

I vote for flowers in the hair. Your dress covers quite a bit and the lines are such an essential part of the design of the dress, I feel like the best way to showcase it is with flowers in the hair (I'm imagining a medieval princess look with either hair down and flowing with flowers tucked in or an undone updo with flowers tucked in). I think that would look sooooooooo romantic! Personally, I feel a veil would be a bit bulky and take away from your dress.

ETA: OR you could do just a very thin tiara, which would still go with the medieval princess look but give a bit of sparkle (if you're into that kind of thing

)!

I would go for a veil- but something much lighter and less bulky than the ones you show. Not much help-sorry.

I think a flower headband and/or really light veil. If you really want to wear a veil go with both....after you can take the veil off and just have the headband.

Oh it didn''t insert the picture...anywho, I think the last picture you put up with the flowers, the one that you said was your favorite..I think that would look the best with your dress. It kind of matches the style of your dress.

Thanks!! I am really excited and nervous all at the same time. It has been a hectic semester and I am a little nervous cause I have been neglecting my wedding stuff.. and I really need to get to it!

I think that i will probably go with this pic (my favorite) Hopefully my ahirstylist can perform miracles (I have so much hair I cannot see why she can''t LOL)

I love the whimsy look of the dress... but sometimes I think it is a little... plain... and I want to dress it up a bit. Actually sometimes I see other dresses and think... hmmm.. maybe this was not the best choice. Then I have to try on my dress and everytime I do I have a grin form ear to ear and I know that it is the perfect one.

I don''t get the chance to feel like a girly girl princess very often.. well... almost never.. so I want to be perfect.

Sometimes the most ''plain'' dresses are the most elegant. Besides...if you get your hair done like that picture (or something similar) and add jeweler to it, that will dress it up. Not to mention the handsome devil that will be standing next to you that day.

ooooh those styles were EXACTLY what I was picturing. Oh that is going to look sooooooo pretty with your dress. The simple lines of the dress will really be the perfect foil for the super girly girl hair

I really like veils...have you actually tried on the 2 you have shown? I agree that a lighter veil might be best, but I think it''s all about trying a bunch on to get a feel for what you like.

Mine, I like the last 2 pics you posted of flowers in hair the best too. I think that''d look so romantic & beautiful with your dress.

If you want to wear a veil, I''d go with a lighter, more sheer one. The two you posted look to heavy for your dress, IMO.

Of course, a tiara could be fun too...

I really like the first pic you posted with the larger flowers in your hair, for your dress. There''s something about the dramatic look of that hair that seems well-suited to the dramatic look of your dress. I can''t envision a veil with the dress, not that I don''t think it would look good, I just don''t have a vision of what would be a good complement (I think I''d have to see a picture with veil and dress together).
