we were palnningon printing out our own invites to save money, but my brother just told me that he and his girlfriend were planning on buying actual invites for us for a wedding gift! now i need some sources pronto to look up and choose one cuz we''re running short on time! help! where did you get your invites at?

thanks!

Some people get all the luck! I''m printing my own invites so I don''t have any company suggestions. What is the theme you''re going with?

I''ve seen some really nice ones on MyGatsby.com

Paper-Source.com has pretty kits and materials - if you wanted to print them yourself but not make them from scratch you could check that out.

HTH!

papyrus has a lot of companies...

I did my invites in letterpress and designed them myself so I don''t have too many links for full service invites... and most of my links are for letterpress...

I like my gastby too.

My aunt handmade our invites and programs using rubber stamps (sounds cheesy, but they were simple and elegant and I loved them), but I got my guestbook from Crane''s and they have absolutely beautiful stationery! The website is crane.com. Papyrus also has beautiful designs.

Mygatsby.com is a great source. Very reasonably priced.

I love the stuff that Paper Source has and you can actually order custom letterpress invitations online. They sell a full line of envelopements too. Paper Source

We got our tuxes at Al''s and they gave us like 60% off the invites, don''t know who you are using for the tuxes but Al''s has a great selection there- you don''t have to use Al''s tuxes to get invites either. :)

I went the custom route but I''ve heard great things about mygatsby.com and Jean M (myjeanm.com).

wow! thanks for all the info...you guys are great!!! i''ll let ya''ll know what we end up with. we have to find someone willing to print in 3 diff languages

ginger - I don''t know if you''re chinese but this site has chinese/english invites in sort of a modern asian look:

http://h2cards.com/

no idea on prices though

Nope not chinese, but those ionvite are really cute!

So I''ve chosen my invite! Colors are cocoa pocket fold, dark red sheer organza ribbon, crimson border, ivory cardstock, cocoa lettering. Cross fingers everything will be ready in time!
