My boyfriend and I have been searching for the e-ring that i have in my head... we found one in NJ by a designer called nelson. The setting is pretty amazing - tons of detail and pave diamonds going up all three sides of the shank and eternity style. There is the center stone and then two smaller stones flanking them. I cannot find this ring online and i have not seen anything like it... i was giving up hope of getting this ring because we just moved to pa so we looked in MD last weekend. we found another ring that is quite similar to a toacori setting but the price was unreal and it was with a designer that i cannot find anything on.. Divine. It is important to me that i have a ring that catches everyones eye.. and looks different from everyone elses ring... any suggestions????

I''d start by listing out everything you really want in a ring. Then find pictures that illustrate those different elements. Check out SMTR for ideas. If you want something noone else has, you might think about going custom, but that can sometimes cost much more than buying stock pieces. Good luck!

You might ask the mods to move this over to Rocky Talky, you might get more responses over there.

From what you''ve said, I think we might have a bit in common...

My main reason for an ornate setting was bc I do not want the same solitare stone and micro pave setting that almost every bride has now... I worked in a bridal salon, and they all look the exact same after a while.
We decided on a Martin Flyer design. They have alot of styles that sound like the first ring you liked. Main stone, flanked by two smaller, and diamons on all three sides of the band. Initial warning though, the settings will run between $4k and $6k. If you see one you like, maybe you could have WF make one similar?
