Need some ideas for my diamond setting

Hello everyone.. I am new to PS and am just loving everyoe''s forums. After reading through everything and getting rather addicted I thought I might ask for opinions. Until just recently I had thought about trying to sell my old engagement setting but then got the idea of putting a colored stone in the center and wearing it as a rhr or a second e-ring. So, here it is a 1.10 princess cut diamond setting. Take a look and let me know what kind of stone I should put in it; shape, size, etc.

It looks like only a princess or square emerald would fit, and you could do just about any stone and it would look great. What about your birthstone or your hubby''s or child''s birthstone?

Thanks. I had princess cut in there originally. I was thinking the center mounting could be replace to fit a different shaped stone.

Do you have a picture of the side? From the top it looks like the head is part of the ring. If it''s a peg style head, then you could put a new head in, but I think the "squareness" of the style and the princess diamonds lends it to more of a square center look.

Good idea. I guess something with a square cut. Pink is always nice. You could go with a sapphire, a spinel, tourmaline. Whats your favorite color? You might consider having the stone cut to fit into the setting.

Thank you everyone for your ideas. The head can be replaced, the original one was replaced when I purchased it. I also was thinking a nice big Oval would look very nice. Now I just need ot decide.
