OK- Here she is! Mark will have the sucker in his office in an hour. It's the PERFECT size and matches my other stone very well. I think. It's a G..and the center is an E and the other stone is an F. So absent any color matching issues, I'm excited! Any thoughts?? (Mark will let me know what he thinks later!)

.51 G VVs2 (not keen on the vvs2 premium, but that that size, it's not a huge $ differnce and also it matches in size which is really REALLY hard to find)
66 depth, 55 table (a near perfect match to the other side and around that of the center)

Man aren''t you lucky to find such a match. Nice.
Have fun with the twins. You probably won''t get much sleep now.

LOL...I told Reena that actually, I'm more excited about re-tiling my bathroom LOL

Hmmm, as for the stone, I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch. I've received diff opinions about having a rainbow EFG three stone. Mark will give me his input on the sucker later.

MMM,

I see you''ve been busy you little dickens you!!

Your three stone ring is coming together nicely, can''t wait to see pics of the new baby!!

HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!! I just got a green light from hubby. (then again, I slightly under estimate the price tag).... I''m nervous about the color matching thing. I don''t want it to be visible...He will go pick it up from Mark next week so I''ll take bad pix when I get it LOL

Congrats MMM!

I think the color will not be noticable at all. Of course, I also think that no one could possibly see an inclusion in a VS stone!

You are one lucky lady! I thought that when I saw the ONE .50ct cushion, but you have TWINS?! And a larger sibling?! SIIIIIGH!

Please post pictures of the family reunion!!!

Thanks Sevens!

Here is another pic of the desired look ala Ana! :)
(it''s funny, b/c in the pic posted by sevens, you can really see the little issue I have with the setting- the stone looks very round on one side) But it doesn''t in person....

I dunno. I think there may be color matching issues

e/t the size of this third is perfect! I''ll know nexr week.

i''d look at the three stones in different lighting conditions. if you are color sensitive, an "e" next to a "g" may be obvious (it personally would drive me crazy). that said....LOVE the three stone cushion concept. i am considering a similar ring with a sapphire center!!

Wow - I love the pic of that 3 stone!

Good luck!

Rocks- I totally am color sensitive too

I''m just hoping. I was eyeballing my F center last night so much that I went crazy and thought I could see color. That''s when I knew it was time to put the stone down and slap myself silly LOL. The .50 F looks just like the bigger E. The G is a perfect size match. But I think that if it''s not right, I''m just going to do a recut on another F.

it is often difficult to see any difference between and "e" and an "f". the range of color that is classified as a "g" is broad enough that color differences can be apparent.

i was going to suggest recutting.....it really isn''t a big deal (unless you want a new gia or ags cert)...more like trimming. the result will be fabulous!!!

I think I may do that rocks. But I''m still unclear as to whether the stone for recutting needs to be a perfect square or not? (I''m having it recut to a perf. square).
Here is the stone- I''d want it to be down to about 4.85. But what the heck happens to the table?

WOW OH WOW OH WOW!!!

This ring is going to be OUTSTANDING!!!

I''m so in love with cushions right now. Thank goodness you have this amazing ring project going on. After Reena''s ring was completed, I wasn''t sure there was anything to live for anymore./idealbb/editor/cute/images/emotion-18.gif

plus, i think it''s fab that i have never ever seen a real life person with a 3-stone cushion ring--and even online i''ve only seen one like once or twice!!! i think it''ll be great having something that nobody else does.

do you think you''ll have it in time for the holidays?

OMG! I can''t believe your ring is going to be even MORE spectacular!!! You are SO lucky! Seriously, you will have my dream ring. I had wanted a three stone with princess cuts, but I ended up with such a large center stone that my side stones would have to be 15-pointers just to fit on my finger (not that I really have room to complain)! I guess I''ll have to live vicariously through you! Seriously, you''re one lucky girl to have such an amazing ring on the way!

Oh, and as for color, I would see the stones. Obviously Mark has done a wonderful job and won''t let you end up with stones that don''t match the center. I''m the type where I would rather have all "Z" colored stones that matched than stones that don''t match, so I completely understand your concern. That being said, I can honestly say that my "I" faces up so white that we''re going with "F''s" for my band (I sent my ring back to WF to match diamonds, and they said the "F''s" won! So, a little variation from E-G may not be bad at all!

That''s what I''m hoping for Researcher!!! The G is the PERFECT size. I mean, it''s a "little" stone with a whole lot of sparkle (as per Mark, I''ve yet to see it) that I am HOPING that it''s a keeper. I mean, the size is dead on. The only thing that worries me is that the center stone has slight flourescence to boot so it''s mega-watt...but then again, I''m not sure the flour makes a diff...

I need a little Leon in my life...but I''ll have to save up my lunch money before I will be able to have the ring made...

HEHEHEHE!!! This would be kinda cool! If the stone is a keeper Reena, then I''ll buy it next week. But the Leon will take longer
