New camera, new JXR photos

So my wife and I got a new camera as a gift a few months ago. I've been working on getting to know the camera and came up with some pretty good photos this morning while playing around. I edited the photo down by cropping and rotating the images to square them up. I did no color adjustments. And for those who remember it, the photo subject is a 7ct JXR scissor cut by George Ellis. So after wearing out 2 sets of batteries, here are my top 3 results.





And now my new avatar photo! I think it almost looks computer generated, but it came right out of the camera like this.

I like the last picture - it came out very sharp and focused. The first two are still lifeless and drab.
