New columbian emerald. .85cts

I just recieved it today.

It is .85ct columbian emerald. It is almost eye clean, and has an awesome glow inside it! My nambian emerald is a deeper green, but doesnt have the really cool glow my columbian does. Hubby said it looks like its radioactive.

Anywho, heres the picture. It is slightly greener then the picture (I say grass green) with the bluish green ''glow'' seen in the pic. I couldnt get the exact green with the 100 pictures I took!!

HA got a picture of its color. A grass green. I had to mess with the lights on my scope to get it to ''deglow'' from the bright lights. It looks like a mix of the 2 pictures in pretty much all light. This green, with the above pictures bluish glow.

Thank you guys! I really am happy with it. Yes it is an ebay stone. I bought it from sky gems (have purchased alot from them, and everything comes back real and as described).

Its amazing, I used to HATE emeralds because all I ever saw was the junk at stores. You know, the cloudy, ugly balls of pond scum they sell? I bought my nambian emerald at a show and I have been hooked!

TL- I know you understand my picture frustration!!! Emeralds are NOT photogenic!

Its really cool though. I never understood the columbian emerald 'glow' I have heard about till now. It looks like I could turn off the lights and it would glow in the dark!

In my short time with gemstones, I have definitely taken a liking to Colombian Emeralds. Congratulations on getting your hands on that wonderful looking stone.

I know you said you just got it but do you have any plans for it yet?
