I’ve long wanted a ring to commemorate my two kids; I have a lovely watch my husband gave me after our second was born with their names and birthdays engraved, as well as a Trinity ring given for Mother’s Day, but rings are my favorite kind of jewelry, so...
I saw that David Klass had posted this ring in yellow gold with diamond in both 2mm and 2mm widths. Given that my kids were born in April and May, I thought about alternating diamond and emeralds in the same ring, but my good friends I made via PS suggested there wouldn’t be enough stones for the pattern to look the best. I quickly and happily abandoned that idea, as it meant I just had to do two rings, with all diamonds and all emeralds.
Photos simply don’t capture how beautiful these rings are. They are 18kt yellow gold with a brushed finish. My kids’ names and birthdays are engraved inside. It’s not a look I typically would’ve been drawn to, but I’m really, really happy with them!
