I saw that David Klass had posted this ring in yellow gold with diamond in both 2mm and 2mm widths. Given that my kids were born in April and May, I thought about alternating diamond and emeralds in the same ring, but my good friends I made via PS suggested there wouldn’t be enough stones for the pattern to look the best. I quickly and happily abandoned that idea, as it meant I just had to do two rings, with all diamonds and all emeralds.

Photos simply don’t capture how beautiful these rings are. They are 18kt yellow gold with a brushed finish. My kids’ names and birthdays are engraved inside. It’s not a look I typically would’ve been drawn to, but I’m really, really happy with them!

Beautiful! They look so lovely together!

These are stunning bands!!! You have made great choices for your mother rings/bands. Would love to see more pics.

HI:

Really lovely!!

cheers--Sharon

Beautiful!

These are beautiful! What a lovely commemoration of your children. :)

Gorgeous!!!:love::love: They look fantastic together, what a beautiful way to commemorate your children!

These are so beautiful and I love the sentiment behind them! The glow of the emeralds is amazing  and I think they look scrumptious in the rich 18k yellow gold with the bright, white contrast of the diamonds!!:dance::love:

Gorgeous gorgeous rings! They compliment each other so beautifully.

The brushed gold looks wonderful and I like how you personalized them!

I LOVE them - will you stack them with a wedding band or anything - not that you need to, but they look like they're on your left hand, so I'm just curious. They are SO pretty. I bet you'll get lots of compliments!

So pretty:love:. Love that these don't look like typical birthstone jewelry.

I love these. Truly gorgeous!

Holy wow! I love these!:love::love: The design is so pretty, and those emeralds just glow!

Those are so pretty...I love the richness of the brushed gold.

I have to admit when I saw "Mother's ring" I kind of cringed thinking of those different colored stones are stuck in one ring...shame on me!
Your stacking rings are lovely!

You are probably starting a trend of new 'mother's jewelry - just gorgeous!!

Beautiful rings.

I love your rings! What a great idea to have one made for each kid! I have always wanted something to commemorate each child but their birthstones just would look odd together. I could do five really skinny bands though! They look beautiful on you! I also have a Casey, a son, my youngest.

oh wow, those are amazing! (if only I liked June's birthstone options, haha)

Absolutely gorgeous!!! :love::love:

Those are so pretty! Lucky you to have two good birthstones for the rings, too!

What a great idea, very pretty congrats!!!

Beautiful bands! Two are definitely better than one!

Thanks, everyone! Here are a few more pics. I wouldn’t wear them together with my ering as I don’t think the look is complimentary but I might wear the bands individually with my ering. I have one pic with my wedding band as well. I did intend for them to be worn on the right hand.

I wonder what DK could do with aquamarines, as that’s my husband’s and my stone. We have the exact same birthday too, though not year.

I’m lucky indeed the two birthstones play nicely together, unlike my kids

Luv2sparkle- my Casey is a girl and my older one. I bet it’s odd for you to hear Casey used as a girl’s name, no?

Adorable.
Been toying with this idea for some time myself. Ah, if only I had unlimited funds. :lol-2:

These are beautiful!!!! What a great idea!!!I've always loved this design. A friend of mine here on PS is the one he made the original rings for, I have always loved the design as well (and have been thinking about getting one too ever I saw hers) and they look great on your finger together with the different stones. Love the brushed gold !!Funny fact..she only requested that he make one, but he said he liked the design so much that he made one for himself lol. He let her choose which thickness she liked best out of the 2 he made :)

What a great way to celebrate your relationship with your kids. The design is gorgeous! I love the way the shapes play together. I may have missed it but what is the mm thickness on these? They stack so well together.
