Hi Ladies!
I have been an on and off lurker on these boards for about 4 years (started with a previous relationship) and so I am super excited to add myself to the list!!
A little bit about me -
I have only been with bf for about 4 months. I met him a couple of months after breaking up with my ex of 7 years (we were high school sweethearts). I had serious LIW-itis with the ex and these boards and much of the break up wisdom here really helped me make the breakup a healthy one and a fairly easy transition.
I was minding my own business purposely NOT looking to meet anyone for a while when I met the now BF and despite initially not thinking anything would come of going on a date with him, I am so happy that I gave him a chance because he is so amazing and I am so lucky to have him in my life!
I am 23 and BF is 28. I am just about to finish school and have gone through a lot of changes and transition in my life over the last year but I feel like I am in such a great place now and have worked so hard to get here that as some before me have said here "when you know, you know". BF is such a good man and I am just looking forward to nurturing what we have and helping it grow! I am in no rush to get off the LIW list since this is still new but I also wouldn't wait 7 years again (just not right for ME personally) so I am looking forward to being around for a bit!!
