New pendant

I've been eyeing a diamond pendant for years now. I rarely buy anything for myself - usually my mom has been kind enough to treat me to pretty, sparkly things. But, I got my first post-residency job a year ago and after passing BOTH parts of my boards (written and oral) and surviving being thrown into a director role from day 1, I wanted something pretty to celebrate these milestones.

Diamond 0.62 ct, J VS2. GIA triple EX. The setting is 16 1 pointers in a cushion halo.





Pardon the poor quality pictures. I broke out the digital camera but pictures were almost impossible to capture.

lily - the halo is a pre-made setting from a local jeweler!

canuk-gal - yes, my mom rocks! I think one of the best things about her is that she recognizes how different her children are and doesn't try to treat us like we are the same. She'd never buy my sister jewelry, because my sister would never wear it!

telephone89 - yes! That is my basil. It sits on my rooftop deck (full sun) and we have been getting drenching rain every few days. I have had to do nothing but prune it every couple weeks and it is flourishing.
