I have a new ring coming soon from Ivy and Rose with my 7x9 unheated shifty pink zircon. I am dying to see it. The CAD had to be modified slightly to fit the stone and then it took them a month to finally finish it up so I have been waiting forever.

Here are some photos. First is a mock-up in yellow gold that I did using my photos app to see if I would like it. Then the CAD. Then a blurry shot of the finished ring that they sent me today.

I will post more photos when it arrives.

This is a very pretty ring! I can't wait to see more pics!

How pretty!! It’s so hard to find decent pink zircon these days!! Such a lovely stone.

Wow I love it! Can’t wait to see!

Thanks. It’s a difficult one to photograph. It’s a strange stone that really changes color from pale peachy champagne to purplish. Here’s a few photos. The first one is from the vendor B5DEF326-26C7-4374-9E04-D22ED59E3B3E.jpegB817C910-27D1-40A8-93A7-699E7C753CBA.jpegA2A7C3E5-0171-410A-8ED2-F8844214A727.jpeg4B374B20-4F82-491D-A88E-CADD3DF03941.jpeg08CDF2FF-5FF8-449B-8429-EBDF927B81F7.png

Beautiful setting and beautiful stone! I've started a little collection of pink zircons. I have some that are similar... peachy with raspberry/ purple flashes. Can't wait to see this on you!

I would love to see them!

Ohhh exciting! My fave colored stone :)
I have a cut pink zircon from Mozambique that I haven't done anything with.
I also have two pairs of pink zircon from Tanzania that I had set into 2 sets of stud earrings. One is a darker pink and one is a lighter pink.
I also have two pieces of pink zircon rough. One is a pure pink from Mozambique and one is a reddish pink from Tanzania. I'm not sure how, for what, or when I'll have those cut

I recently returned two pink zircon. Too dark or too brown, and I couldn’t really find the “pink.” Yours are really lovely. I really love that round especially.

It’s really hard to find good pink zircon. A huge issue is that every time you do a search, you get a boatload of cubic zirconia popping up. :roll2:

Doesn't that drive you nuts?!! But the clue is a 10ct genuine pink zircon for $30 bucks... from India no less :)

The mozambique is from Dan Lynch on Instagram.
He got fresh rough in Tucson. This was his first one he cut but he's done more since.

Lololololol! Yes, humongous 30+ carat flawless perfectly cut stones for $5.

Beware of all the fake Benitoite too! Same thing, except true collectors know you can barely get a Benitoite over a half carat, let alone ten carats!!

Thanks for the tip. I did manage to get this small 1.7 carat stone. I say small because zircon is so darn dense, it faces up like most one carat gems. Love the color though.

Bad pic, sorry.

That looks a lot like mine for color. Pretty! I guess that explains why my zircon is so heavy feeling compared to some of my other gems. It’s one of my largest stones but it’s sooo heavy.

I have pinks from different locales.
Tanzanian (both stones from one piece of rough:

A more pink champagne zircon from Harts Range Australia:

Just got this beautiful Mozambique pink zircon:

Love them all!

Mine came from a vendor in Australia but I don’t know if it originated from there. I’m guessing it did. They said it’s unheated and from what I understand that’s a good thing because zircons are more fragile when heated even though most are heated. I’m hoping it holds up well but I’m not too rough on my jewelry.

I have one other pink zircon that’s from Jeff Davies. It’s darker and redder. I probably won’t set that one. I prefer the lighter colors too.

Here’s my Jeff Davies one(s). I had two but they were so similar that I sold the bigger one and kept the 7.5mm round. It’s unbelievably firey but just a bit darker than I like so I may sell this one too eventually. 0AC44E67-C66B-440B-A6FF-4AB221263FF7.pngBD2DC70C-6C77-48CE-9921-63DC818993C8.pngDFB5CBDB-2C9F-480E-A6EC-AAB31CCE7B6B.png

Here it is! These photos are all taken indoors and it’s showing it’s peachy side. Sometimes it looks more purplish. It is definitely a peachy pink champagne with some brownish tones (in a good way). It’s so different from my hot pink spinel and will probably be more versatile although it does look like a cocktail ring! I was worried it would be too fancy but it’s not.

I love that it’s low set. It’s a bit top heavy and turns around easily because Ivy & Rose shanks are on the thin side. Hopefully adding sizing beads will help.

Beautiful, get some sunlight photos.

So pretty! Thank you for the extra photos. I love the pink/orange/purple playing together in the sunlight. I bet it throws off rainbows!

Enjoy your beautiful gem and it's gorgeous setting.

Love the color of your absolutely gorgeous round brilliant pink zircon!!! Do you plan on having it set in a ring? If so it will look spectacular!!!

Here's a pic of my Tanzanian red-pink zircon (5.5 carats / 9.5 mm) I bought in 2020. The red-pink is different... Not as red as I'd prefer, but still pretty. I had it set in an antique art nouveau style ring setting from the 1920s.

It looks similar to my other round one which is kind of an orangey red pink. I think most pink zircons have some orange/brown in them so they don’t look as pure but they are still pretty and the dispersion is amazing.

Now I understand what you mean by being too dark!!

I saw these on Instagram, one is my holy grail pink zircon color, and the other is a peachy stone I love. Unfortunately, I refuse to buy gems off Instagram. Is yours like the top stone? 9C6D4898-AB13-46C7-8732-73E25C848657.jpeg32681EA7-685F-40D7-84B7-7481E57A8BB8.jpeg

My round Jeff Davies one looks like the top one and the oval one in my new ring looks quite a bit like the bottom one.

I refuse to buy on Instagram too for the most part. Particularly if they don’t post prices. Waste of my time.
