So I have new bling - yay!

I have had an aquamarine ring for about a year that I haven’t been wearing much because I don’t have any other jewellery which matches it well.

For my birthday my husband bought me an aqua which I loved. It came from Star Lanka, a vendor that I’ve bought from previously and had really good experiences with.

Because I’m basically broke after my splurge on diamonds (more on that when I get back from LA next week!) I was going to just set it extremely simply, no diamonds just white gold.

But the CAD looked so boring.

And I googled. Which is always dangerous. And I found an inspo picture I loved but the diamonds were rounds and my aqua is an emerald cut. And I cannot mix the two. So I asked the jeweller to make it with baguettes.

Here is the inspo.

So here is my pendant!

Love it, thanks for sharing!

Took my breath away. :kiss2:
The simplicity and clean lines did all the talking to my eyes.

That’s a nice one! Enjoy!

And I also really want to know what you got from LA!

I. Love. It.

And yes I want to see your oec ring! I thought you were going in March? You’re there now?

I am off to LA next week. I’m going to collect my three stone and I’ve also got an appointment with J by G to snoop a few things. I might stop into one or two more places on my travels. I will be sure to post pics of my new ring with the Hollywood sign and other landmarks as well LOL!

I always pair step with step and brilliant with brilliant, except with melee, because I think full cut rounds look great with everything. That being said, really good call on using the baguettes here, because they totally make the pendant. This is gorgeous!!

That is just sensational! It's just floating there! 10x better than the inspo!

Hi,

The design is wonderful. I love Aquamarine, light tone or dark.

@Ionysis It's lovely! :kiss2: Be sure to pack some sweaters - it's cold here! My daughter works in Beverly Hills/Hollywood and said the Hollywood sign was covered in fog this morning.
I think it would be lovely to take a photo at the beach with your goodies!

Stunning! The step cut vs round is a huge improvement.

So cool!

Love it! Makes me think of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and British Art Nouveau

Gorgeous geometric design.

Wow that is a gorgeous stone and sleek design. Enjoy!

The colour of this one and the cut isn’t as good as the stone in my ring but it’s IF and just as clear as water. Emerald cuts are so unforgiving of inclusions that I went for the best clarity I could.

This is the ring. The stone is technically a “better” colour, with less green to it, but ring and pendant are far enough apart that close comparison won’t be made between the two.

I now just need to buy some more aqua coloured clothes to go with them. I can’t be the only one here who ends up buying clothes to match the jewellery rather than the other way round like normal people accessorise.

Your ring is lovely!

OMG this design absolutely sings to me! The symmetry and clean lines…just gorgeous! :kiss2:

Hi @lonysis! Do you recall the weight or dimensions of your aqua in the ring and the side cadillacs? I am currently having Jeff White cut me a stone and wonder if the proportions of yours would work for me. Yours looks perfectly balanced!

I know the centre stone is 5ct. Will check out the rest of dimensions.

Thanks so much for checking into this! If you don't mind sharing ring size as well that would be greatly appreciated! I have not an ounce of creativity and rely on inspiration from this group for my tiny collection. Your collection is divine and your seem fearless in your choices.
