A very pretty paraiba tourmaline and a few nice spess garnets.

It's pretty, just too dark for my taste. I like my stones very light and airy If you do get it, make sure to take lots of pics!

Hehe, I put in an inquiry about the montana sapphire he's currently cutting, although it'll probably end up smaller than I'm looking for.

the darkness doesn''t bother me. I hope you didn''t think I thought you thought it was ugly.

oooooo sapphires

I want a blue one some day. I have a peachy pink one but it looks horrible next to my skin. (its so pretty in the box though)


I have a bunch of light stones that are absolutely beautiful but they look horrible next to my skin (or if pinkish/peach/tannish they blend in, ugrh!) That includes the lovely tourmaline I just bought...beautiful stone on its own but it looks like caca next to my skintone

So yes I''m thinking about it REALLY HEAVILY. Not that I need another stone, since I bought 5 this week.

Hehe, I love peachy pink colors! I have a padparadscha sapphire that I ADORE, and a malaya garnet in a similar color. I was GOING to try to nab one of Barry''s tourmalines but apparently being 15 minutes late to the drop means a lot of the choice pick are gone, lol.

Oh well. I sent my recently acquired blue sapphire off today to get set, hopefully I''ll be getting it back in a few weeks!

I spied Dan''s new lovelies during my lunch yesterday. The paraiba and spessartites really caught my eye. The spinels are always a favorite.

I grabbed a few lovelies - spess, spinel, tourmalines over the past few days - I have to get some pictures uploaded from the camera. I accidently shipped off one tourmaline to my sister - I was in a rush to get it off for her birthday. I''ll ask my brother in law to get pictures of it when it arrives - it is AMAZING!!!!!

I have a couple of indoor pictures that I snapped when it first arrived on my camera, but they aren''t great - I wanted to take some pictures of it outside, I was in such a rush to get it to the post office to ship, I went straight from the jeweler to the post office. Ugh.

Mom''s tourmalines and diamonds are still at the jeweler, we are working up some designs - this one is going to be a big project, so I don''t know how long they are going to be there. 2 of my spinels are there as well - not such a big projects, but a fun project. 1 spess is here - I haven''t taken pics yet, I will when the weather breaks, it''s actually looking like that might happen - it''s getting a little bright.

New spinel should be here soon.
