New tsavorite ering - with pics!

No, I haven''t gone for an upgrade already.

This is the ring I helped my friend Matt with for his now FI! I haven''t met it in person yet, but here are the first photos (I WILL get the handshots!)

Wink has again gone above and beyond to find me a great tsav (thanks also to Palagems here!) - and to cope with Matt''s weird idea that you can design and custom make an e-ring in under 3 weeks!

But Wink did it!

1.22ct tsavorite 6.7 x 5.6mm (rich medium dark green)
Split shank platinum setting with pave set halo.

She was crazy about mine, so Matt and I thought we''d go for something similar but different. So, she''s got the tsav, the split shank and the diamonds, but in a different package.

Can''t wait to see it.

They sent me the most gorgeous bouquet of yellow roses yesterday as a thankyou. They obviously don''t realise how much fun I had spending his $$$!

Sorry Selkie, she already said YES!

She sent me over the photos and is crazy about it. The trouble I''ve had - we couldn''t get her ring size for ages, I even tried getting her to try mine on at Xmas, but she insisted it would be unlucky for me and wouldn''t put it on the right finger.

In the end, we managed to get a good approximation - she''s about a 3.5 - big difference from my 6.25!

I did look at another amazing stone - amazing price tag too

. But I thought it would be a bit too big when the setting was done. It killed me turning it down, even if this one is just as good, only a bit smaller.

Anyone who''s interested, check out Palagems inventory number 348 if it''s still there. It is to die for...
