Sorry Chloe isn''t feeling so great. I think everything you are doing is all you can do right now. I would just watch her closely and hopefully she will stop sneezing soonDate: 12/30/2005 5:57:54 PM

Have any of your cats ever had a cold? Is there anything you can do about it?
Chloe, being indoors, has never had one but she''s been sneezing constantly for the last few days. The only thing I can think of is that maybe when she went to the vet 2 weeks ago (upset tummy...was barfing for days straight) she caught something? Seems odd...but she''s sneezing, sneezing, sneezing.
I called the vet and asked when I should start getting worried...she''s not lethargic, is eating, pooping, doesn''t appear to have a fever...they said if she starts sneezing phlegm (yuck) or gets oozy eyes, to bring her in. Anything I can do for her in the meantime??? I''ve been giving her some tuna in addition to her regular food to encourage her to keep eating. Poor sneezy kitty.
Rascal has caught a cold or two over the years, and he is strictly an indoor kitty and I do not have direct contact with other cats at all. My vet said that it is so easy for an outdoor cat to leave germs on your steps, door, etc. and then you bring them into your house. Also, in the summer when the windows are open, often germs come right in with the breeze.
