Bridget, I too wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss of your ferret.
39.gif
It is so hard to lose our beloved little ones.

Thanks guys, it was difficult, but I''ve also had a week since he died. A week of looking for him in the cage when it is time for outs. That sharp pain of loss when it first happens has eased.

Again, thanks for your thoughts.

I wish you well,

Bridget

....Pets never outlast us...but they are worth every minute. Ferrets are so adorable...I''m sure you have him a *great* life

Oh Bridget, I know it''s hard, but like MMM said, just remember all those wonderful, happy times you had with him

Rascal, those playdate pictures are so funny!

Bridget, I''m so sorry for your loss...it''s never easy to lose a pet...they unconditionally love us and it''s heartbreaking to have to let go. But I''m sure he''s romping around in the big playground in the sky.

Okay, here is my cat. Her name is Bunni. She''s beautiful but she''s very high maintance!

bunwater1.jpg

She''s obsessed with drinking water from a water faucet, so she will follow me from room to room in hopes that I will turn on the faucet in the nearest bathroom and provide FRESH water for her. She refuses to drink from a dish!

When she drinks her water, her fur puffs up and she purrs like crazy. So cute, but SO demanding

Love the new kitty pix! So beautiful guys! Thanks so much for posting...I never get enough!

My computer is messed up..I can't wait to go on my in-laws computer and see the pixs in detail...is that a tongue I see? LOL Hysterical!
My Gracie sits on the toilet and waits for me to turn the faucet on too...I was actually getting worried LOL... Glad your kitty is faucet obsessed too! I wanted to get that electric water bowl for her for Xmas but I don't want to leave it plugged in all day...

Oh everyone''s kitties are so adorable!!

MC, what type of cat is Bunni?

MMM, one of my future sister in law''s cat loves to drink running water from the faucet. They also bought one of those bowls with the running water and both their cats drink out of it. I bought Rascal one, and the only way he will drink out of it is if the water isn''t running
20.gif
. What a waste of my money for a really large plastic bowl and a power cord that I can''t plug in

lol I''m not sure. She''s mostly just a bulimic cat!

I adopted her 12 years ago when I was 21. My best friend called me on the phone one night and told me her neighbor found a litter of kittens outside of her apartment and she insisted I come over and adopt the gray one and name her Violet. lol I did adopt her, but named her Cleopatra instead, then shortened her name to Cleo, then changed it to Boo Boo and later she became Bunni! hahaha She''s developed schizophrenia as a result of all the name changes!

The dynamic in my house. Sooo sad for poor Gracie LOL...

Entitled "What a nice little spot I have here"

Entitled "Perhaps THIS is a better spot for you"

MMM, love your kitties!!!!! :)

MMM, I love your kitties, too!! That pic of your kitty snuggled in the comforter is just too cute.

Isn''t it funny how they can find the most comfy spot to sleep in everytime, no matter what.

As a PS: I''ve been observing my Boyser as he sits with his feet crossed and every time I see him it''s right over left......................................except this am it was left over right!!!!! I''m sure he did it just to throw me off!!

I thought about buying them one for Christmas this year, but ended up with a big scratching post to hopefully curb their problem! I''m wondering if my cats will have the same issue with it though, they''re not big fans of the faucets, one is actually scared of it...but isn''t it supposed to make them want to drink more water which is a good thing? And they are pretty large so I don''t want it to take up a ton of room if they''re not going to like it either.

MMM - your kitties are so cute! I love the little narrative hehe. That''s how mine are, one of them is always bothering the other two and trying to take their "spots" Then as soon as they get comfy somewhere he runs over and wants their new spot

I was trying to take a picture of my ring for the SMTR forum, but kitty thinks it's all about HIM, so here I am posting in the kitty section.

MMM that sequence is freaking hysterical. I can totally see the whole scenario in my mind. I especially love the little tail that''s visible in the corner under the chair after being chased from the prime spot. LOL.

WOW. and WOW. Both WOW. Just two big WOWS!!! LOL... How beautiful marvel!

And thanks Fire LOL...Vinny really tests my limits sometimes... I''ll have to take more, it happens all the time in all spots. He''s such a sweet boy but he is in charge. Gracie is a little princess, but she''s so timid...And Scotty, well, he''s such a lover but oh how he sheds!

Marvel!!! GORGEOUS ring and GORGEOUS kitty too!!!

Thanks, everyone! I'm enjoying my ring...the kitty on the other hand is beautiful, but high-maintenence. I have another kat that is very timid and he likes to boss her around
20.gif
Sounds kind of like the same dynamics that MMM has with her kids, I mean kats

He has that look in his eye...like I''m in charge!!! It''s hard, right? You want to protect the other but there is only so much you can do....

Have any of your cats ever had a cold? Is there anything you can do about it?

Chloe, being indoors, has never had one but she''s been sneezing constantly for the last few days. The only thing I can think of is that maybe when she went to the vet 2 weeks ago (upset tummy...was barfing for days straight) she caught something? Seems odd...but she''s sneezing, sneezing, sneezing.

I called the vet and asked when I should start getting worried...she''s not lethargic, is eating, pooping, doesn''t appear to have a fever...they said if she starts sneezing phlegm (yuck) or gets oozy eyes, to bring her in. Anything I can do for her in the meantime??? I''ve been giving her some tuna in addition to her regular food to encourage her to keep eating. Poor sneezy kitty.
