Musey, this isn''t your your fault, but when I went hunting for your Pronovias, guess what happened? I fell in love with a different one. I already ordered a dress, and now the photos of this one are pulling (hard) on my heartstrings. THAT is what I get, for HELPING??? Please, can anyone tell me how to shut up these voices and let me be happy with the dress that should be here in 2 months?? Right now they''re screaming at me to see if I can find this new dress anywhere to try it on. They''re so tempting, whispering things like "Just go see....you might even prove to yourself that you like your dress better. And....how bad could it be to find one you liked better, hmmmmm? Sell the old one (you DID get it half off...), buy the new one at that great discount you found. Not so bad, right?"

GAAAAAAAAH, what do I do?????

The dress I ordered: Here
This is the new dress: Pronovias Daifa

I like the original dress you ordered.

I actually went through this same thing. My dress was ordered, my first fitting was several weeks past. And suddenly I had a little "what if there was something better suited for me out there" moment followed by a "what if there was something better suited for me out there" PS post. Of course, everyone told me I was silly and that my dress was just right. Then I had my final fitting, and *presto* I was in love with the dress again. I think that once you have your dress, and you have it on, and it fits like a dream, you will forget all other dresses exist. You will see other wedding dresses and say, "Oh, that's pretty! ....but not as pretty as mine!"

You look wonderful in the dress you ordered. Yes, stop looking. It will only cause problems. I saw this one after I was married. Same shape and styling, but this one is more beautiful.

Ohhhhh NOOOOOOO!!!! What have I done?! I''m sorry to have inadvertently caused you confusion.

You should trust your original instincts, your first dress is GORGEOUS! Don''t worry!!

The dress you already have ordered is beautiful and looks perfect on you!
What is going on with the butt of that Pronovias? I''m not really feeling that little flap and can''t imagine it being very flattering.

I have to be honest here, I don''t think the high empire waistline of the new interest dress would flatter you that much. When you were deciding between the AF and the Anjolique, I thought that the Anjolique''s short bust/empire waistline just didn''t do your figure justice. I loved the AF on you because there was no "line" underneath your bust to cut that area off. The new dress has that cutoff, and I don''t see it flattering your figure as much as your AF. I say stick to your AF, it looks beautiful on you!

I''m going throught the same thing, LadyC--I already have my dress but after reading that thread about the Priscilla of Boston sample sale I called and made an appointment for this Sunday! EEEEK! I originally fell in love with the Melissa Sweet Dora, but then I tried on my dress and instantly new it was the one. Well, since I fit sample sizes I thought "Why not just try it on? What could it hurt?"
Ummm, my wallet?!

Stick with your original dress--I will if you will!

Maybe it''s the sweet lace jacket that''s throwing you off ... you could always have one made to pair with YOUR dress??? This one doesn''t seem more special or anything to me ... it''s just a crush ... not TRUE LOVE

Oh my... they have that poor model wearing ~12 inch heels!

Seriously, the bodice on this dress has a lot of elements. Pleating and runching and flowers, oh my! In real life this dress would have a lot less skirt, which will make the bodice to look very busy.

Thank you everybody for helping me keep my sanity! No group of gals could do a better job than the PS ladies when it comes to picking apart a dress (no matter how beautiful and innocent it might be

) because a fellow PSer needs to hear it. You are of course all very right - I chose my dress with good reason. MINIMS, I think you''re right about the height thing - it looks like the model is standing on a platform, something I didn''t notice before. Chop her off at human height and suddenly the dress doesn''t look so well proportioned.
