So Canada Day and Independance Day passed and no one got engaged?!?!!?

Well... one of my best friends did... and a friend of mine's 2 best friends did... and my other best friend's FF asked her dad for his blessing this weekend.... but nothing here...

An acquaintance from undergrad got engaged in Puerto Vallarta this weekend! Very happy for her!

Another friend got dragged into a ring store by her BF/FF

. We are all rooting for a proposal for her, she is SO happy with him! We are thinking it will happen before the end of the year.

Other than our anniversary 8 months ago, I have not felt he was going to propose until the 4th of July.. I don''t know why... I was just feeling it. Sadly, no proposal. We DID talk about diamonds and rings.. and I had a mild freak out last night about not being able to afford one! So........ Yeah. Needless to say, no proposal, but was reminded of how lucky I am
