No pics of my blue sapph.

No pictures because I have decided to send it back.

I really love the color of it, but it has a tiny window in the stone that really really bothers me. I didn''t notice it before.

When I am wearing it inside I can''t see it. I wore it outside today in the sunny weather and there it was. I don''t like windows, even tiny ones. My Pad sapphire rings have no windows at all.

Either we will pick out another blue sapphire, or maybe I''ll get another PAD. TEE HEE. So uncertain what to do.

Thanks Lisa, I just told him. I know, especially when you can''t see them in person. I''ll just ask Steven to make sure it doesn''t have a window this time. HA !!!

Was the stone unheated? My general take is that applying the same cut criteria to fine untreated stones as you would to heated stones may make it difficult to find something. Nice unheated sapphire is rare, and chances are great that stones will either be cut with a window or cut too deep and face up small. Either is a compromise.
