Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I got bad news, too.

I’m so sorry to hear this news. Another lovely woman joins this sh**y club.

Even though triple neg is more aggressive than hormone positive breast cancer, it can respond well to chemotherapy treatment. Early stage is very treatable. I’m glad you came here to share with us. We are all here to support you!
Big tight group hug!!!

Came back to add:
Please don’t think that you are a Debbie Downer and that you can’t vent your feelings. Lean in here, we will listen and support you!

HI:

Healing vibes across the miles....

Sending love and healing light your way. We are with you while you navigate this, an army of bling friends with our arms around you.

I’m so sorry @Mrsz1ppy.

Please know that the people who love you are every bit as shocked as you are, and they’re thinking about you, and praying for you, and thinking about how they might be able to help.

So many shocks right now. First the surprise of something to maybe actually be a bit worried about. Then the surprise of having the most unlikely possibility come true. Then the gut punch of the triple negative news. You wouldn’t be human if you weren’t reeling.

I’m not going to say anything about hoping for good staging news etc. I know that for me - sometimes it’s helpful to mentally prepare for the worst. I will say, don’t try to judge your odds from the internet. Those articles that oh-so-cavalierly throw expectancy and recovery rates out like candy - don’t take any of that tripe to heart. My mother is going through breast cancer treatment right now and the one thing I’ve learnt is that none of those statistics ever apply to an individual. Every case really is unique.

Be kind to yourself. There is nothing that you could have done to avoid this. There is nothing that you should have done to avoid this. You’ve just been dealt a sh*tty hand of luck. You’re going to have a lot of trips to the doctor, probably going to be doing a lot of arguing with your health insurance provider, some of the diagnostics will be uncomfortable, you’re going to spend time anxiously waiting for answers. Please reach out to people for help with all of that. Anytime you need. People close to you IRL, people on this forum… They want to help and they’ll be happy to help.

And if you need to chuck some dishware only thing is to remember to avoid the Corelle, cleaning that sh*t up is just the worst!

Corelle is the worst to clean up!!!

Prayers outgoing!!

I don’t know where you live @Mrsz1ppy. If you are in the U.S. I hope you consider seeking treatment from a large University hospital or one that ranks high for their cancer treatment, specifically TNBC. Find a team that is current on some of the recent treatments for TNBC using neoadjuvant therapy.

I also have a rarer subtype of BC and have gotten my treatment at a very large teaching hospital. They are more up on the latest advancements. Big hugs!!

Mrsz1ppy, I am so sorry to hear this. I understand very well your shock and dismay at the news, and I'm wishing you the best prognosis and medical care. This wonderful community has helped me so much through my journey—please don't hesitate to lean on everyone here for support, encouragement, and beautiful bling to take your mind off things. Sending you gentle hugs.

Oh, my! This is indeed shocking for you (and your loved ones), @Mrsz1ppy. Thinking of you with much compassion, and wishing only the very best for you. In the meantime, know that you have many, many supporters here, even if only they read (rather than post), and send you healing vibes. Gentle hugs to you.

I’m sorry to see this @Mrsz1ppy. Hoping for the best for you.

Oh no, @Mrsz1ppy ...these posts hurt my heart. Do what you need to do (ie research) and keep us posted. Hopefully Pricescope
can at least be a pleasant distraction when you need a break (I'm sure overwhelming is an understatement).

I will be thinking about you and sending positive healing thoughts.

So sorry to hear this @Mrsz1ppy what an awful shock for you
My friend here in the uk has also just been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and is currently undergoing chemo and immunotherapy.

sending my thoughts and best wishes for your treatment ❤️

So sorry to hear this.
As a cancer survivor myself, I probably have felt some of what you feel now, and it's not nice.

I hope you and your medical team beat the crap out of this thing!

So sorry to hear of your diagnosis @Mrszippy, sending all the best wishes, positive vibes and prayers for you to beat this!

I'm just reading this @Mrsz1ppy . I so sad to hear this news and cannot even begin to imagine what you're going through. Praying for healing for you, strength for your family and guidance for your health care team.

Aww @Mrsz1ppy - nothing that hasn’t already been said, but just count me among the women who are cheering you on throughout this. It’s so unfair…you certainly don’t need to put on a brave face here! B*tch, moan, and share as much as you’re comfortable with here. Be extra kind to yourself and indulge in anything you need to for self care. Hugs.

Sending you positive vibes and dust for a quick and complete recovery, MrsZ1ppy.

Absolutely this. Also, not all “NCI Designated Cancer Centers” are equal, speaking from experience. Team skilled in Neoadjuvant therapy, yes. Also talk to your oncologist about specific lifestyle changes to compliment therapy. My hopes are for your complete healing.
