Noticed a watch trend?

Have you noticed that, while most diamond rings are still set in white metal, many ladies are wearing large yellow gold watches. What do you think of that mixed metal look?

I love the mixed metal look! I am actually contemplating getting a tricolour gold bracelet to tie in all the different colours I wear.

It is interesting that you've noticed large yellow watch trend... I just received a stainless steel Tissot with diamonds and absolutely love it. I had a beautiful yellow gold watch many years ago but it didn't get much love so I passed it on to a friend.

Having said that, I do think yellow gold is making a come back and look forward to adding more yellow gold pieces to my collection.

Agree yellow gold is making a comeback. May have seen it first on ps. And watches are big. But recently have noticed trend setters in fashion wearing white pieces and adding a large yellow watch. Something different. I wonder where this started. For example, after the remake of The Great Gatsby movie, art decor jewelry became more popular. As a jewelry lover, i am curious and notice those trends first.
