Ok I will (try to) remain calm but I am excited for you to find an amazing OEC.
My original ER diamond was a GIA G and I was sure I would not want to go lower than a G but as you know it's different with old cuts. I never thought I would have the color I have now but I just love it and honestly it faces up so white. It would bother me if I saw a yellow tint but I don't and have never regretted changing my GIA GVS2 for an OEC (GIA) LVS1. Not for one second. Best jewelry decision I ever made and I am finally satiated in the perfect (for me) ER quest.
You really need to see old cuts in person though I think because each stone has its own personality and shows color differently.
I know if you decide to go for an OEC and have patience you will find the perfect one for you too Callie.
