I just ordered the bezel set ruby band. It should come next week.
Hi to everyone amd thank you for remembering who I am LOL
Mamabean, when I read what you were having for dinner, I remembered my favorite saying...
Good shot of the egret, Missy!
Marcy, have you put your fluffy boy on a special diet now that he is lifting?
Your earrings are really super beautiful! Hope they arrive very soon.
Wow Marty France. You would come with??
Tekate, the good thing about not getting to France this year is not missing anything. To get the same effect as being here, get in bed and pull the covers over your head. Voila! The 2020 France experience!
@missy cool boots but you knew that anyway. Too funny about the roof guy: we were cycling today and I recognized our handyman....on someone else roof! We had a lovely chat, it was so nice to see him. He does gorgeous work and I need him for a few projects. The nicest man, an artist. When he was here last (painting) he was telling me about whites and I had NO idea!! White is white is white? Nope!
@missy Oh gosh it would be great to meet up wouldn't it! We could get other PSers together and descend on your ice cream place near the beach house. I'm glad Greg's knee is up to the cycling. Hasn't he done well. How are you generally and your fatigue levels?
Your scenery looks very much like our walk today @missy, we went to one of Dottie’s favourite places, she loved to hunt squirrels there, used to meet her friends Rosie the St Bernard and Ursa the Newfie, they were quiet like her, so even though they were bigger, she never felt threatened by them. It was so good to get out in the fresh air again and walk for nearly an hour. It’s a good place to go because we could walk on to another path if we saw anyone coming. There were very few people about this morning, so we timed it just right. Ollie does look like he’s saying “take me with you Mum” I didn’t get Bella out yet because we wanted to get out before it got busy. Wow that was really great service from the roofer, glad you’ve got the problem sorted. I’ve not heard back yet about the bracelet, but will keep you posted.
@canuk-gal darn they already shipped them to my address.
Sharon, Nice try...wish I’d thought of it first.Have them sent directly to me. I'll let you know if you like them.
Hi NIRDI's!
@Jimmianne I will have to get the fluffy puppy some protein treats. Good idea. I like your saying but immediately went to "mm donuts". Thank you; I am anxious to see my earrings.
@missy that is great you are sleeping better at the beach. Sorry you are pretty tired; I hope that gets better soon. Funny story when we were at the beach it was about day 3 before I realized the "noise" outside was the ocean not wind like I hear at home. My body is still talking to me but I ignore it as best i can. Right now it's a good day when i don't need to take Advil. You and Greg had a great and lovely walk yesterday. Thank you for so many wonderful pictures. Yes, I am anxious to get my new jewelry.
I only hit snooze alarm once today. it's going to be tough when I do have to go back to the office. Marty is brewing up something for lunch that smells good. It has stuff in it I can't eat though so I'm making myself some beef stroganoff - ish out of noodles, gravy and leftover steak. i don't have mushrooms or sour cream which I usually add but it will work.
We watched one more episode of Yellowstone last night after Marty got home from the gym.
I made up more pdf's for seniors. One on the Sun with fun facts and jokes then one on Wyoming weather with funny memes and a list of worst blizzards. I think I'll do a songs / movies of the 70's and 80's today.
Take care.
Marcy

Oh, whoops, I see you diverted the delivery. “There is no try, just DO”, right?
But be careful...have you ever been disciplined by a teddy bear??
My garden is really coming along. It’s all I do. The new gates are being installed today, so I can finally lock up my tools and garden furniture, and maybe even keep the badgers out. The garden is a two minute walk from my house up a steep ruelle, good for cardio. In these times of things feeling like they are not moving along, I am happy to remember that the garden was a chest high weed patch a year ago.
Here is before and after, with the old broken gate.
And the flower garden. The vegetable garden is the round patch at the back in the second photo.
And, finally, the walkway to the garden.
Have a good day, dear NIRDIs.
Austina...those baby teeth!! Love love loveIf we’d known this pandemic was going to happen, we might’ve made enquiries about getting another rescue @Mamabean, but we’d decided to wait until we moved because of the transportation issues. Much as we miss Dottie, we just don’t want to have to air freight a dog, so we’ll just have to wait and perhaps get a pup or 2 once we’ve moved (if that ever happens!).
So happy for you! They are beautiful.
