Now I really did it :((

I just ordered the bezel set ruby band. It should come next week.

Hi to everyone amd thank you for remembering who I am LOL

Mamabean, when I read what you were having for dinner, I remembered my favorite saying...682032

Good shot of the egret, Missy!

Marcy, have you put your fluffy boy on a special diet now that he is lifting?
Your earrings are really super beautiful! Hope they arrive very soon.
Wow Marty France. You would come with??

Tekate, the good thing about not getting to France this year is not missing anything. To get the same effect as being here, get in bed and pull the covers over your head. Voila! The 2020 France experience!

Wonderful choice! Cannot wait to see it on you @marcy.
You are really collecting some lovely new pieces of bling. :kiss2:
I have not heard of the show Yellowstone and will check it out. Thanks for the rec. I hope you can continue to WFH for a long time because it will be a long time til this virus goes away or we have a vaccine and/or treatment for it.

How are you doing re aches and pains? How is your shoulder/arm?

Haha @Jimmianne we could never ever forget you dear girl. You are much loved and revered and you are always a NIRDI no matter where you are.

@missy cool boots but you knew that anyway:bigsmile:. Too funny about the roof guy: we were cycling today and I recognized our handyman....on someone else roof! We had a lovely chat, it was so nice to see him. He does gorgeous work and I need him for a few projects. The nicest man, an artist. When he was here last (painting) he was telling me about whites and I had NO idea!! White is white is white? Nope!

Thank you Sharon. I love the color because it is a soft pretty shade of blue/grey and goes with much of my blue grey wardrobe. And it is comfy too. I am glad you enjoyed a lovely chat with your handyman and haha that he was also on the roof. Same place our guy was when we chatted with him the other day. And yeah I know there are so many whites it boggles the mind! I love bright white but Greg prefers a bit more off white. Oh well, no one is perfect. Hugs and hope you're having a good week.

@missy Oh gosh it would be great to meet up wouldn't it! We could get other PSers together and descend on your ice cream place near the beach house. I'm glad Greg's knee is up to the cycling. Hasn't he done well. How are you generally and your fatigue levels?

Yes it is a date! One that might not happen til 2021 (or even 2022) but still something to look forward to! Thanks and yes Greg is doing pretty well knock wood. Despite the kidney stones which are looming over us. My fatigue levels are generally the same but it has only been a few days that I took the full reduction of dose as I was tapering. So time will tell. I am tired much of the time but can work through it and I also think I am sleeping a bit better at the beach house with the fresh sea air and sounds of the ocean. Very peaceful. I do wake up often but I am generally able to fall back asleep. Thanks for asking. How are you guys doing and how is your son handling the continued quarantine? How is Hershey and how is Oreo? Hugs.

Your scenery looks very much like our walk today @missy, we went to one of Dottie’s favourite places, she loved to hunt squirrels there, used to meet her friends Rosie the St Bernard and Ursa the Newfie, they were quiet like her, so even though they were bigger, she never felt threatened by them. It was so good to get out in the fresh air again and walk for nearly an hour. It’s a good place to go because we could walk on to another path if we saw anyone coming. There were very few people about this morning, so we timed it just right. Ollie does look like he’s saying “take me with you Mum” I didn’t get Bella out yet because we wanted to get out before it got busy. Wow that was really great service from the roofer, glad you’ve got the problem sorted. I’ve not heard back yet about the bracelet, but will keep you posted.

Thank you @Austina and yes please do let us know what is happening with the bracelet. It is lovely. Bella will be excited to get out and I am excited for pics of her if you are so inclined. I am glad you enjoyed a lovely walk too and the fresh air is amazing isn't it? There were more people on our hike yesterday but that was because we went to a state park. We won't do that again. We wore our masks while in the park and then left after a few miles and went on the rest of our walk in our neighborhood which was quiet so no masks and ended it at our beach and walked home on the beach to our backyard. It was a good walk.

I am glad you are going to socially distance with Sue soon. And lol that sounds like something I would have done...shampooing with the wrong bottle. LOL you are in good company dear Austina. Hugs.

@Tekate Great Kate the wise and wonderful hugs to you and your family. Hope all is going well. And I hope your shoulder isn't hurting you. Have you set a date for the shoulder surgery? XOXO.

@Slick1 you are a love and so is Chase and you know we are holding good thoughts for all of you. Continued healing dust and much love to you. XOXO.

@Scandinavian good morning girl, how are you doing? What are your summer plans?

@AV_ hope you had a lovely day yesterday and I look forward to hearing about your day. Food, walk, flowers, ice cream...anything you want to share. XOXO.

@junebug17 hope you are enjoying a beautiful week at the beach and getting to see your sister too.

@Daisys and Diamonds hugs to you and your furry crew Nicky.

@springerspaniel hope the week is going smoothly and everyone doing well. XOXO.

I am sending good thoughts to everyone and if I didn't mention your name I am still thinking of you.

Leaving you with some pics of our walk/hike yesterday. As I wrote to @Austina above we first went to a state park that had too many people despite them halving the parking lot accessibility. So we wore our masks. But after a few miles we went to our neighborhood and walked a few miles there and ended up on our beach for the last 2 miles and walked home on the beach to our backyard. It was a lovely day.

Oh and of course a photo of Bubbalah enjoying our hike/walk yesterday. She is adapting quite well being at the beach. She loves the sand and the sea and the trees and the grass and the flowers too.

And she even likes the cement.

The lighting changes her appearance. And I love how in any environment she brings beauty. As do the NIRDIs. Love you girls. Stay safe and be well.

Hi NIRDI's!

@Jimmianne I will have to get the fluffy puppy some protein treats. Good idea. I like your saying but immediately went to "mm donuts". Thank you; I am anxious to see my earrings.

@missy that is great you are sleeping better at the beach. Sorry you are pretty tired; I hope that gets better soon. Funny story when we were at the beach it was about day 3 before I realized the "noise" outside was the ocean not wind like I hear at home. My body is still talking to me but I ignore it as best i can. Right now it's a good day when i don't need to take Advil. You and Greg had a great and lovely walk yesterday. Thank you for so many wonderful pictures. Yes, I am anxious to get my new jewelry.

I only hit snooze alarm once today. it's going to be tough when I do have to go back to the office. Marty is brewing up something for lunch that smells good. It has stuff in it I can't eat though so I'm making myself some beef stroganoff - ish out of noodles, gravy and leftover steak. i don't have mushrooms or sour cream which I usually add but it will work.

We watched one more episode of Yellowstone last night after Marty got home from the gym.

I made up more pdf's for seniors. One on the Sun with fun facts and jokes then one on Wyoming weather with funny memes and a list of worst blizzards. I think I'll do a songs / movies of the 70's and 80's today.

Take care.
Marcy

@canuk-gal darn they already shipped them to my address. :D

@marcy they are gorgeous girl! Really beautiful! They will look beautiful on you.

Have them sent directly to me. I'll let you know if you like them.:lol-2:
Sharon, Nice try...wish I’d thought of it first.
Oh, whoops, I see you diverted the delivery. “There is no try, just DO”, right?
But be careful...have you ever been disciplined by a teddy bear??

My garden is really coming along. It’s all I do. The new gates are being installed today, so I can finally lock up my tools and garden furniture, and maybe even keep the badgers out. The garden is a two minute walk from my house up a steep ruelle, good for cardio. In these times of things feeling like they are not moving along, I am happy to remember that the garden was a chest high weed patch a year ago.
Here is before and after, with the old broken gate.

And the flower garden. The vegetable garden is the round patch at the back in the second photo.DF809E33-2B3E-4666-9107-952217A20A86.jpeg14DB30A3-9C43-4E5F-90C2-5C4812BED595.jpeg

And, finally, the walkway to the garden.

@bling_dream19 it's FriYAY! How are you? Hope you are enjoying a wonderful week. XOXO.

That is so great of you to write the letters to the seniors to cheer them up Marcy. Very nice! I like the theme of 70s and 80s too. I agree going back to work is going to be a challenge but I think also a relief on some level for many. Hope the beef stroganoff is yummy. Have to check out Yellowstone. We watched the Survivor finale last night. Hugs.

@Jimmianne gorgeous scenery. :kiss2: Thank you for sharing! XO

@Niffler75 how are you? What if any are your plans for the weekend? It's going to hit 85F here today. Officially too hot for me. Hugs.

@canuk-gal haha yes she should send them to you and then you can send them to @Jimmianne and then Jimmianne can forward them to me. That way @marcy gets all our quality control skills. ;-) Hugs.

@Slick1 hope you and Chase are doing A OK. Hugs and continued healing vibes. XOXO.

Hope everyone else is well and doing OK.

Greg and I had a good walk yesterday. 20,000 steps. Went to the beach and then walked the hills near our neighborhood. It was a good workout. Tired when we got home and dinner was well deserved.
I will share pics in a few...I need to get more food because I am hungry. 8)

I'm back. Some photos from our afternoon yesterday.

Hi everyone from a very overcast UK.

@Jimmianne Hope the gates get installed today with no hitches. Your garden is lovely. I really wish I had space for a dedicated vegetable garden where I live. I make do with raised beds and growing in pots.

@missy How is the move to the beach house working out? I sincerely hope you feel more relaxed there and are sleeping a bit better!

@Austina Have you made any more decisions about that lovely bracelet?

Gardening, cooking, some walks and maybe family film night are on the agenda for this weekend! I really need to get my act together and start baking again regularly.
I am plugging away at the GIA Coloured Stone course and should have plenty of time to hopefully enrol on the other courses too.

Will check in later everyone x

@Niffler75 sounds perfect. Gardening, walking, cooking, baking, and educating. ❤
We are happy to be here. We love both homes so were very fortunate. This is the best place to be for now and this is the time of year we’d be heading here coronavirus or no. Of course depending we might be here for a long time. We’ll see.

Hugs and enjoy a good day xoxo.

@marcy this is for you.

Happy 70th!

Hello lovelies

Happy FriYay!

Lovely day here, bright sunshine and really warm.

Wow @marcy, you’re really keeping the economy going with your lovely earrings and now the ruby band coming. That was my favourite just because it was a bit more unusual. Not long to wait for your earrings, they’ll look really great with your pendant.

Hi @Niffler75 I love the twiggy setting you’re thinking of for your colour change stone, it’s going to look fab! Not heard anything back from the bracelet people yet, so we’ll see.

Loving all the photos @missy, I wish we could be at the beach with Dottie, it was her favourite place to run and splash in the sea. So glad she had that last holiday and beach walk before she died. Wow, you certainly got your exercise in yesterday, no wonder you were so hungry  It certainly looks lovely and quiet there, and so relaxing to be able to walk without running in to other people. Did you sleep better after all that exercise?

Keeping everything crossed you get your gates fitted @Jimmianne. The garden is looking amazing, all your hard work is really paying off. Any news on the new ring?

Look at a Farrow & Ball colour chart @canuk-gal to see fifty shades of white  Who knew that white isn’t just white?

Is Shatzie coming tomorrow @Mamabean? Have you been busy cooking for him to restock the supplies, or is he still all stocked up? Hope your Mother is behaving and not causing you any extra grief. How’s David doing, is he coping well with the quarantine?

Hi @bling_dream19, any plans for the weekend, or are you going to be catching up on sleep? I wish I could sleep for 12 hours, you lucky sausage!

Now we’re finally allowed to drive somewhere to exercise, we went somewhere different today, we used to take Dottie there, because it was very quiet. We had a lovely walk, and guess what, we got a puncture on the way home! Oy!!!! Fortunately, we’ve managed to book a mobile visit for Monday to replace the back tyres. I don’t know if you remember that we had the front ones replaced in March, and the guy said we still had wear on the rear ones and they didn’t need replacing for a while, famous last words!!!

Yesterday was the auction of the brooch that I found, and I checked what it sold for, boy, someone really wanted it, it went for 5 times the estimate!!! It was nice but no way would I have paid that much for it, and it certainly wouldn’t have been worth the investment to convert it to a bangle. As I said earlier, not heard back from the jeweller re the bangle, so I’ll wait and see if they contact me. If they don’t, I’m not going to chase them, I know there’ll be others.

Thinking of all the lovely NIRDIs @springerspaniel @sarahb @Poodles4me @Slick1 @Tekate @Daisys and Diamonds and hope you’re all doing well in these uncertain times. Slowly things are changing, and we’ll get through this.

:wavey:

I just had to post these pictures of a gorgeous Spinone puppy, just look at his little toofies

@Jimmianne Absolutely gorgeous, serene and a haven from all that’s going right now. My blood pressure went down just looking at the photos. It must be heaven. :kiss2:

@Austina Can you get her? You will be locked down for a while..So precious!
Yes..Shatzie is coming tomorrow. It’s so nice to see him. I’m going to make him a baked pasta with sausage for lunch. I won’t eat it. I mainly watch him and have a glass of wine..lol I like my pasta on the plain side..and not for lunch..He comes around 12:30 and stays until 5:00. Then I come in and cook for us.
I’m happy you can now drive somewhere to walk. It sounds like you both enjoyed it...with the exception of your punctured tire!

If we’d known this pandemic was going to happen, we might’ve made enquiries about getting another rescue @Mamabean, but we’d decided to wait until we moved because of the transportation issues. Much as we miss Dottie, we just don’t want to have to air freight a dog, so we’ll just have to wait and perhaps get a pup or 2 once we’ve moved (if that ever happens!).

Austina...those baby teeth!! Love love love
Let’s keep each other strong. I was online looking for a puppy this morning. Same situation... the eventual transporting. I’m counting on you to keep me on the straight and narrow puppy-less trail! LOL

It would be even worse for you @Jimmianne because you’d have to stop over here first so even longer for the pup to be crated and hanging around. If Dottie had been alive, we would’ve done everything to get her there, but I wasn’t looking forward to it, it would‘ve been very stressful for her and me.

Happy FriYAY friends! It's a gorgeous spring day here:bigsmile: I started my weekend plans early @Austina and @missy I went to bed at 11pm last night and woke up about 10:45am and I feel much happier. After my awful day Tuesday I knew I couldn't pull a regular working day on Friday. So I just worked today 1230 til 2pm. My husband said I looked so much younger and happier when I woke up. So, this weekend I'll be doing what I do best....sleeping :bigsmile::sleep: It will be a busy weekend, maybe we will get to organizing the basement? Still trying to figure out what to do regarding my dad's birthday.
@missy I LOVE the pic of the heart with yalls shoes, very sweet. And I just love seeing Bubbalah - the green pastels are so pretty, she loves being outside! And I LOVE the patriotic cat leggings! Hugs to you friend, I'm so happy you're at the beach.
@marcy I can't wait to see your ruby ring and maybe an ear shot of your gorgeous earrings!
@Jimmianne thanks for the beautiful magical pics!
I hope everyone has a wonderful FriYAY and restful weekend - love and sparkles to all :wavey:

Ooh la la. I love them.
