NY? any suggestions?

HI Ladies! Comming up on the 9th is SO''s Bday, and we will be in the city Fri night til Sat evening. SO has a class that he needs to take there for work early Sat morning. So we decided to make a trip of it and go Fri night after work and get a room. Id REALLY like to find a NICE get dressed up kinda resteraunt to take him to dinner. Not like FANCY FANCY...but nice enough to have to wear a nice pair of slacks or kackies and a nice shirt. And I plan on going shopping for a cute dress or something. Well I need ideas or suggestions on where to go. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help. Oh and as a side note... I have a feeling that SO just MAY propose on or around my Bday which is the 1st week of Sept. Not CERTAIN...but maybe. So yesterday I decided to go get a mani. I figured this way it would look nice for our dinner in NY...and, well.....it CANT HURT to have em lookin extra nice JUST in case ciuld it? lol. So I did a Acrylic pink and white (solar) and it came out really nice. Im quite happy with it lol. Anyways...thanx again in advance for any suggestions.
