NY JAWS 2021-My Old Cut Heaven

I was there too! I sampled:

This unbelievable ruby from DeYoung, which was one of the most expensive items I saw there

797D7FB8-B280-478C-8911-87EA0887E84F.jpeg

A perfect topaz from Jewels by Grace

And also snapped a pic of her amazing line of huge old cuts

I'm glad I went, but I hope that in future years, everyone won't be behind glass; it really makes it impossible to see and sort through many of the smaller pieces, and that's what most people are buying.

OMG THAT RUBY :kiss2:

Wowowowowow

wow, looks like you had so much fun! Thanks for sharing!

Great thread - thanks for posting all the pics and descriptions and details -- really loving that graduated ruby ring in particular but everything is so beautiful and fabulous!!

You’re welcome. I’m glad to share my experience! It was definitely worth it to go-especially for old cut lovers:)

Oh man.. my favourite is that 6ct UV OMC from JbG.. Thank you so much for taking photos and videos of it!!

I hope to be able to join you some day!! There are too many pretty things to be seen!!

Thank you for the photos. That’s looks to have been a wonderful day. And despite all those amazing rings, I kept looking at Josie thinking ‘that’s a stunning ring’.

Aw thank you @caolsen-that’s really sweet of you to say! I got to see how Josie measured up to so many amazing stones. The show was kind of like a Goldilocks moment for me :)

So worth it! I think there was a decent amount of Oscar Heyman, too. I had to skim over the branded estate gems to keep on schedule ;)

Alrighty then, its official, I'm booking my trip for next year!!!!!

OMG! I would have wanted to hide in there so I could play after they closed for the night! Stunning pieces! Interestingly enough, my 3.74 is also called a circular brilliant by GIA and I adore her!

@lulu_ma - Why did we not go to this together?? This looks SPECTACULAR! Wonderful pieces - thank you for sharing!

Next year for sure! (I'm in Boston, too!)

Thanks for sharing @lulu_ma! I loved and enjoyed all of the shots! My fav was the Jack Weir ring. That would be my Holy Grail for sure

Yes! Let’s do it! I’m hoping that life is safer then and we can have PS JAWS get together!

Love your 3.74! They had these huge safes at every booth so night time fun would have been a problem :lol-2:

Oh it’s a real stunner irl! I thought my threshold for tint was M color but for the right stone, I can definitely go warmer.

Yes, JAWS NYC is amazing. So much to see. And so happy there were so many vendors. @missy and I needed two days there. Great that you had so much fun @lulu_ma Next time you should make it a weekend.

I guess there were only half of the usual vendors. I will definitely need 2 days next time! :)
