SO FRUSTRATED! I''m trying to be a nice bride and find dresses that my girls can wear again. But we''re having the hardest time finding dresses that we like.

Where in NYC can we go look at not expensive, pretty dresses? We''ve been to RK Bridal and Bloomingdale''s. I tried to get an appointment at Adrienne''s but they are ALWAYS booked! And I heard Here Comes the Bridesmaid is more like RK Bridal. Thanks!

My BMs had great luck at a Macys in Boston.

I had to find a dress for a formal/cocktail event and found the dress/gown section of Macys in Herald Square to have the best selection in a wide range of prices. They range from formal gowns to cocktail dresses.

One of my BMs also opened a Macy''s credit card and got all 4 dresses at something crazy like 40% off.

I was thinking that. I''ll probably go next week to check it out first.

I live on LI and my bridesmaids were the most happy with, of all places, david''s bridal. i got my dress there and they all got a discount off theirs because of that, that made them happy, in addition, they have a lot of different options that you can actually try on in store since they usually have a bunch of sizes in stock. check out their website and see if there''s anything you like, it couldn''t hurt!

What about MaxStudio in Soho (or online at www.maxstudio.com)? They have GORGEOUS party dresses that aren''t too pricey and definitely rewearable.

Another option ''outside the box'' might be Nicole Miller. I think her boutique is in Soho too.

Funny you mention Nicole Miller. I was literally just looking through her stuff earlier.

eta: Maxstudio has SO much stuff. I'm totally going to go down and check it out. Do you recommend any particular store? It looks like they have 3.
