OFF TOPIC: How do you change your username?

I''d like to do it so I''m less "searchable..."

I emailed the admin requesting a change and they did it the same day. I just told them my current name and what I wanted it to be changed to. Your login is the same but your screenname changes. It has been a lifesaver for me, as I picked (dumb) my real name for my screenname lol

I am pretty sure you can contact the Administrator and they will change it for you.

Just an FYI - If you change your name and do not open an entirely new account, I think your old posts will still pop up but with your new name attached to them - so if anyone refers to you in their responses, that name will still be visable.

LOL! I''ve thought of changing my name because I often wonder if people understand that when I chose my name (almost a year ago!) I was keeping the faith for my engagement and that I am not super religious keeping the faith

LOL Keepingthefaith - that''s hilarious. I assumed it was something LIW/BWW related actually. I think A LOT of PSers pick their names very non-creatively like I did and regret it soon after! I only knew that a screenname change was possible after reading about a LIW who was afraid her SO would find her haha so sneaky!

how do you e-mail the admin? I was thinking about changing my name as well...i don''t want my BF to know quite yet that i play on this site...and if he came across it, he would know exactly who i am...kindof scarry.

Hit the "Message Admin" button with the question mark in it near the top of this thread.

There is a "Msg Admin" button right under the subject lines of the topics & you can send them an email that way & they will respond lightning fast.

I just told EmeraldLover1 to switch out the names on the list when I changed mine... no big deal!
