Oh crap. Trunk show?!

One of the local bridal shops is having 3 trunk shows in September for designers of my favorite dresses!!! What''s an unengaged girl to do?! Kidnap one of my friends and go? Make BF propose before then?

How many trunk shows do designers usually have a year? This might be my only shot if we do an early 2010 wedding! Eeee!!!

What would you do? (I''m one of those planning without the ring type, to guide your responses.

LOL! It''s La Sposa, Pronovias and Sophia Tolli at Princess Bride. But then what if I love something and miss out on the whole ''trying on dresses with mom''? This sucks.

I guess I could pay full price for it later...Sucks.

I hear ya. We have a big bridal show coming up in January (still aways off, I know, but we won''t be engaged by then). I REALLY want to go - because the next January might be too late - but I would feel weird doing so, especially asking anyone to come with me.

If you're already planning, no reason to leave this one thing off the "okay to plan" list.

P.S. I'm of the mind that if both parties have agreed that there will be a wedding, and there is even a specific time frame in mind... you're engaged. You just haven't announced it yet.

Ha! Thanks Musey. I think a good kick in the pants is what I need. But the question still remains - how often does a trunk show come around? These are 3 different weekends too, perhaps I'll go to one. I should ask over in BWW.

Will have to talk to BF about breaking the news to the 'rents.
