Aww, thanks, ladies! That was taken on Tuesday when J was visiting. We went out for an afternoon cream tea at this lovely tea room not too far from school, and then we took a walk by the river and I snapped a few pics of us (even though J hates having his picture taken).

I totally agree, and would LOVE to get married somewhere beautiful outside like this, but you know what? In England, you''re not allowed to get married in a place like that! Has to be in a permanent structure that''s available to the public. Why? Who knows. No fun.

Yeah, we had actually never noticed before that picture, but our eyes are the same colour, which is funny because I've been told at least a dozen times in my life that people have never seen anyone else with my colour eyes. I should find those people and show them J and totally blow their minds!

Aw, look, how cute are you guys?

Isn't it weird when you meet someone with the exact same eye colour as you??? I had a friend in uni and it always bugged me there was something about his appearance I couldn't put my finger on, it was just intriguing somehow. Then one day someone clocked it - we have the exact same eye colour. I've been told I have eyes like a wolf (nice huh?

). So you can imagine, it weirded everyone out big time. I have never met anyone since with the same colour eyes. That might be for the best, ha ha!

I love you guys' big ol' baby blues. Gorgeous!

Ms. Dreamy: aww, you are too sweet, thank you! It is kind of funny, because I love J''s eyes (mmmmm, dreeeeeamy) and I think my eyes are one of my best features, but never before now did I put them together and say, "Hey! They''re the SAME!" Duh. Sometimes I''m not too bright.

Gwen, just for you darling, and for one day only, see avatar. It's the best I could do and it's pretty crap actually! IRL they're even more yellow, and the black circles around the edges are more pronounced. So yellow brown with green flecks in. I just call them hazel. BF says they change colour depending on my mood too. I'm not gonna fall for that one though, I know for sure he's winding me up!

ETA - I should add that I'm not this weird wolf-woman that people stop and stare at! I've gotten the wolf comment a few times. Other times I get the 'what colour do you call your eyes?' cos they can't think of a colour for them. But for the most part people don't pass remarks. I like to think they're not that unusual so they don't get too many comments. 'Cos if they are unusual and people aren't commenting, well that means they're unusual in a not so good way

Oh, the Lake District! I haven''t been yet but I have seen photos and it looks AMAZING! That was one of the motivations behind J and I wanted to live in Manchester (a small one but still present)--it''s fairly close to the Lake District! I just know I will fall in love when I go there.
