Two and a half years ago my coworker, my friend, died driving home from his Friday night rehearsal dinner. Never to make it to his Saturday wedding.
What I think is probably similar in both cases is imagine traveling for someone''s wedding and staying around long enough to still make their funeral.

However, she died on the happiest day of her life with all of her family and friends there...Tragic but somehow comforting, to me.

I''ve been married previously...

The day after our wedding on the way to our honeymoon, we got in a horrible car crash and almost missed our cruise ship. We were lucky we weren''t injured. Guess I should''ve known our marriage was doomed!

Wow. My heart goes out to the groom and both their families. What a hard thing to go through.

I read about this in the paper yesterday, and my heart goes out to her new husband and family. She died on the happiest day of her life, and had the wedding of her dreams, which she never thought she would live to see.
