It happens all the time around here. People post a ton, get engaged, and then run. It wouldn''t surprise me at all.

But then again, it wouldn''t surprise me if we got a lot of posts from her soon on the BWW forum.

I know people do it a lot, but not usually when they are so involved in the forum. Everyone here was aware of Erin and her bright attitude. I am really shocked that she of all people would disappear. I hope she is alright and healthy. But I am still kinda dissapointed/shocked/saddened by this.

IIRC, Erin was only a member here for maybe two months, wasn''t she? It''s not like she was a long time member, so I''m not surprised. And she did allude that she''s a member of many forums so she''s probably hanging elsewhere now. People try out different forums until they find the one that best suits them.

Well, maybe she''s just busy and will come back.

But they do disappear even after being very active. Look at the old LIW threads, or the introduce yourself thread...you''ll find most have gone away and many were here longer than Erin.

In fact, the majority of LIWs are fly bys.

Yeah, there have been a lot of very involved members who just stop posting--whether for a particular reason or no reason at all. I've noticed that there are members I feel as though I've interacted with, and then realize that they stopped posting before I even happened across PS

I guess they made a lasting impression.

People get busy and forget about forums they've posted on, move on to other things, etc. It's all just life moving us on to different things

Hey all!! I am so sorry to be away for so long. I have had a lot going on with planning, family stuff, computer meltdowns, new jobs, and so on. I have not left you on purpose lovely ladies!! You ladies are a large part of my life even if I have only been here a few months...

I am not just a "fly-by" so no worries there. And even though some on here (no names...) may be happy I have been somewhat absent, I am glad the majority cares enough to miss me.

So I have gotten into planning quite a bit. Going back and forth with emails and phone calls to our wedding location and vendors for the event. It''s been so much fun!! And Eric has been 110% involoved with everything as well making it more romantic and fun to plan. We are planning on taking some engagement photos in the next few weeks (I want to lose more weight...17lbs down, way more to go) at a beautiful garden reserve. It would fit our outdoor wedding perfectly so I am VERY excited.

Everything else is coming together perfectly. I am on top of my planner each and everyday making sure nothing gets unorganized and things are calm and less stressful. I have a BUNCH of cut outs in a folder for ideas as well as a scetches from my friend of what I would like things to look like. Eric and I have a bridal convention in April as well as little wedding faires here and there.

Basically everything is just PERFECT. The only downside... I miss getting on here to say hello and follow all the wonderful stories of the LIW supporters. So, what have I missed?? Fill me in ladies!!

Congratulations on losing weight, that is awesome! I need to lose a lot myself, so I am trying to get started. My dress coming in in May should be enough motivation. Should is the key word, but girl scout cookies stopped my weight loss in its tracks. When you have a chance post your location for us so we can see it! We want to see your ideas!! Do you have a date, well I guess you do! Yaay!
