OK, I know it''s coming and now I feel crazy!

So, my bf and I have been talking about spendning our lives together for awhile. No pings of anticipation.

We went to look at diamonds and settings. No pings of anticipation.

We picked out a diamond and I selected three settings (his choice, I love them all). Still, no pings of anticipation.

BUT...my woman''s intuition tells me something is coming...soon..and now I m going crazy with anticipation and excitement. My parents keep asking me if I there''s anything new in my life. His mom called me last night out of the blue to tell me how much she and his father love me (she sounded like she was going to cry), and my BF keeps giving me googly eyes.

Am I crazy???? I know you ladies will understand!

I know exactly how you feel- all along in my relationship with Jim, I''ve been very careful not to jump ahead or put too much pressure on him. In the beginning I told myself, "Well, if it lasts two months then that was the best two months of my life." Then we hit six months, a year, we started talking about moving in together, he moved in... We talked marriage but it was always just out there as a future thing.

Then the first week we lived together he came home talking about a guy at work who is getting married on a cruise ship while it''s in port in Galveston, so people who aren''t going on the cruise can still come to the ceremony and just leave before the ship departs. We looked at each other and knew that it was what we are going to do!

Jim immediately got on the phone and started calling friends and family to tell them about it. From that moment on it became a reality and even though I won''t consider us truly engaged until I have the ring and he''s proposed, I have been so anxious about getting to the engaged part. It''s like all the excitement I held back for a year and a half has finally bubbled to the surface and is now overflowing.

So I hope your wait is very short and the proposal is everything you want it to be!!

Wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, if you're going to twist my arm....

The diamond is a 2.02 carat RB, F color SI1 (totally eye clean), Ideal cut. It's so icy and sparkly!!! Ahhhh!

It's down to three plain platinum settings 1) Vatche X-prong, 2) Vatche Royal Crown, 3) 6-prong knife-edge solitaire .

nI absolutely, positively want the Vatche X-prong and I think I was more than a little obvious about it at the jewelers ("I REALLY REALLY love this one, Honey!" "If it were up to me, it'd be the Vatche X-prong all the way!" "It's the prettiest one, don't you think????") Lol!!

The googly eyes are the biggest sign - he has to have the ring, somewhere in his possession! I remember Weston literally SKIPPING to bed the night he got the ring, and giggling at me in the mirror while brushing my teeth that night. He didn''t propose until a few days later, but he told me he was so excited, he was sure I could tell he had it.

Me: Hmmm, probably a year ago?
Mr. G.: I think you should go get one Friday or something. Then maybe we can go to a fancy restaurant, you know, for fun.
Me: Ooooooooooooohkay?
Mr. G.: Oh, what the hell, maybe get your hair and nails done, too. I mean, if you want to. You are gorgeous every day but sometimes it''s fun to dress up.
Me: (Very calmly and all non-chalant) OK, that sounds like fun.
