Hi. I've been searching old postings for information on where to purchase OEC natural colored stones. I haven't run across much information about them anywhere I've looked.
Would anyone know who sells colored stones that are Old European Cut?

Thank you!

Have you checked with Peter Toracca? I believe that he has cut colored gemstones in an OEC cut before. I would love to see a pale spinel in this cut.

Dana at Mastercut has also cut a variation of an OEC.

Julia B on Etsy can get them custom cut. I have a purple OEC spinel I got from her.

Nice cuts, but do I see this right: she does not note if her sapphire are treated or not? Or can I assume they are all untreated?

Here is the OEC spinel I got from her, it was a while ago though! Untreated Tanzanian purple spinel.

Are you referring to a specific ring or stone listing which doesn't have the treatment specified?

I believe Julia lists treatments for most stones, but she's been great to deal with in my experience so I am sure she would be happy answer questions about specific stones. From what I can see of her current listings, most of her natural gems are untreated or basic heat only. (She also sells sims which we do not discuss here so I exclude them from this statement.) Her sapphires seem to be mostly basic heat-treated, which would be in line with the price. Spinels and other gems she has seem to be mostly listed as untreated.

E.g. this OEC morganite is listed as untreated

Yellow sapphire listed as basic heat only.

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions!
The OEC Mint Merelani garnet on Peter Torraca's website is the exact color and cut I'm looking for.
I googled mint garnet, and was surprised to see how expensive it is. Is anyone familiar with a stone the color of the mint garnet that is more budget-friendly?
I will also contact Julia B and Dana at Mastercut.
The world of colored stones is new to me, so this will be a learning experience!
