Thanks everyone! I was doing a sudoku a bit ago and smiled the whole time! I love that he did that for me! I posted a side shot in SMTR forum, but I''ll put it here too -- it was supposed to have micropave diamonds on the bars supporting the halo, and as you can see, it doesn''t. BUT these bars are tinier than anticipated, so maybe it wasn''t possible...? We''re still debating about what to do (send it back or not) -- I LOVE it and feel like someone would have to PRY it off of my hand at this point!

You are all so WONDERFUL!!! I think that having this happen and being part of the PS community while it did really added to the experience --- it made me so happy to share my story and show off the ring here and know you all actually cared! I''ve always been so excited for the ladies here who have gotten engaged and it''s great to be on this end of it!

Driving is VERY dangerous!!!!

SUN IS GOOD! Going to the rink was fun yesterday b/c all my students oooh''d and ahh''d over it, but my favortie respose there was from an older male coach who works there (and bought his new wife a 5 ct engagement ring last year) --- he just dropped his jaw and said "W O W"! Everyone commented on how sparkly it is, too. EVERYTHING they''ve taught us here is so right on -- cut before everything else! I''m SO glad we went with an excellently cut stone. I think it sparkles in the dark!

To answer a few questions, the band is only 1.5 mm! Tiny! My finger size is 6.75, not small by any means. I put the ring next to my soon-to-be-engaged student''s hand this morning (she''s got a size 4 finger!) and it looked huge! (she wants a half carat when she gets one and it will look great on her hand!) She wants me to push the "cut" issue to her boyfriend b/c after seeing mine, she wants hers to sparkle like that!

Anyway, happy happy here....
